Egyptian weapons Vs Nova Weapons

So many people say Egyptian weapons become stronger then novas.

But so far I havent seen any proof...
OR even screenshots of ksro seeing them.

Anybody got some proof that they really come and know if they really are stronger?
I can give some nova reinforce stats
(Good way to compare items, since they dont get higher with ++)

European magic attack weapons:

541.6% - 662.0% (41%)

European physical weapons:

324.3-396.4% (0%)


So if anybody knows them from A or B egyptian weapons then we know if we should sell novas or keep them

Check on Rev6. Synx has a few screenshots of egypt weps. Or kSRO. Their stats are a LOT higher.

Wow those stats are A LOT higher...

I guess i am fcked up by buying my novas last week..

I think Nova B weapons +0 is like 101+15, or 'normal' (current) nova weapon +10.

But, saying that current nova will be worthless is lame, because from what I saw, the quests to get the Nova A and B weapons will be really hard and long to do.

So Nova weapons should still sell for good gold.

IF we Assume a level 110 Full int wiz, the mag rein will have to be included as well..
Full int 110 wiz with maxed stats has:
534 Int points


A staff +0 = 8128 Max Mag attack
Nova + 3 = 8562 Max Mag attack
Quite a difference

B Staff compared:
B staff 101

3988-4874 (0%)
561.7-686.6% (0%)

Nova Staff +4

4029 ~ 4820 (+0%)
519% ~ 634.3% (+0%)


IF we Assume a level 110 Full int wiz, the mag rein will have to be included as well..
Full int 110 wiz with maxed stats has:
534 Int points

B staff +0 = 8540 Max Mag attack
Nova + 7 = 8562 Max Mag attack
Huge Difference..


Formula for calculatin max mag attack:
Max Mag Attack = Maximum mag attack from weapon + Int point * Mag Rein maximum

The egyptian are a lot better, but a lot harder to get....

Used just 1 formula. Written on the end of the post.
It really isnt so hard to understand if you know how damage works in silkroad.

Physical attack = Physical attack weapon + STR point * Physical reinforces
Magical attack = Magical attack weapon + int points * magical reinforces

Physical defense = Physical defense item + STR points * Physical reinforces
Magical defense = Magical defense item + INT Points * Magical reinforces.

Its not so hard. Just using percentages and multiply. I would say mathematics for the age of 12

3767-4604 (0%) <--- Magical attack of a weapon..
539.9-659.9% (0%)<--- Magical reinforce of a weapon..

534 Int points

Using the formula given:
Max Magical attack => 8128

So dont tell me to fix my math when its really that easy. (îf you aint good in math dont tell me to fix mine.. but fix yours )

Normal ones, I dont think we get nova A or B.

What makes it confusing is that first you give the stats of staff A and Nova+2, then you compare staff A and Nova+3. (Nova+3 total attack is not 8526 btw.)
Same with the next weapons, stats from staff B and Nova+4, then compare staff B and Nova+7.

Anyway the first compare of weapons is pure without taking the magical reinforces into consideration. The second comparing of weapons is including the magical reinforces values.
Anyway just remember..

Nova +7 = B weapon
Nova +3 = A weapon
