It's a weird coincidence because when I still played sro, here I have cable and I lagged, but then when I went to france on vacation and played on 56k and later, dsl, I didn't lag.

I can't believe you guys think the type of high-speed net you are using affects your gameplay.

More likely it is your ISP... not the type of service you have.

Wowwwwwwww.

lol this is America High speed cable is Da shit, well yes u see DSL run on its own line, but Cable dont, for example all ur neighbors use Cable but u use DSL, so ur speed is the same, but if u switch to cable u would be sharing the speed, so basicly the more ppl around u use cable the slower u get. if u live on the east coast of U.S, u should call this company Verizon, they have a special internet called Fibro, its an advance internet than cable, its faster but ofcourse more expensive.

Its FIOS moron, its not more advanced, its just fiber. It is not that much more, and for a whole lot more speed. Try looking at prices first?

DSL and Cable are both "shared" just at different points.
Cable is shared at the , thing, dont remember the correct term that is the point for all of your neighborhood.
DSL is shared at the DSLAM, just farther up the point.

Congestion still happens on both kinds of systems.
