So, what's Xian like these days?

Hey all,

I've just returned to sro after a long hiatus. My previous server, mercury, is a total bitch to log in to. Xian on the other hand is easy to get in to even when crowded. Its quite tempting to start over on Xian, but since I only have lvl1 characters there now, I figure I'd check around to see what the rest of the server is like. At the moment it looks very good with a lot of activity at jangan and const. So, what are the higher levels there like, and are there many english speaking people around?

There are enough, yesterday I checked Sama for pvp since a while and it's the same frikkin bs. Everyone runs around with uncaped buffers/trashtalking and all that bs. Maybe the battle arena will be fun but then you gotta be atleast 101+ anyways. I wouldn't bother coming back mate cuz added to that, the only reason traffic is low is cuz of that GNGWC (or what ever you spell it) event.

most of the people at const are bots. I wouldn't start a new on Xian. Only reason i'm still there is because i'm to lazy to start on a different server.

I wuold not recommend your coming back to Xian if you're gonna start on a new char. Especially not if you do not know anybody on there. The server is one of the most crowded servers (normally) and there are, as any other server, tons of goldbots. However, I've started to notice that there are way more goldbots on Xian than on any other server. Not that the amount of goldbots should make you keep away but it's worth considering.

It's just my opinion Good luck with whatever you do!

Going to Xian because its a bit less crowded as the other servers now is just a wrong reason, it's gonna get worse anyway soon when the GNGWC stuff is over.
But Xian still has one of the most english speaking players, and not overrun by turks owning every fort =)

Hmmm, too bad, It looked like it had simply lost all the old bots, and was therefor less crowded. It's still easy to log into tho at the moment.

It's hard to say, really. Some server have tons of Turks, some don't. When I played Turks didn't own the fortress but at Xian, like at any other server, there are still TONS of Turks.

Good old Xian <3 I can't say I miss it... Isro is just a few random ppl from all over the world mixed in with every 10-16 y/o Turkish kid that ever lived. It's a lose lose situation no matter what server you pick... Shit, Turks even take over the private servers and try to take over the other versions They spread worse than herpes in high school =(

Well, thanks for all the info guys. The natural thing to do for me would be to pick up my old character, but as hard as some servers are to get into, mercury somehow seems the worst of the lot. I'll just poke around in the next few days to see where I can get in consistently.
