what you guys would do in my situation?

So I was playing earlier and just killing monster to lvl up and out of no where there is a this guy show up and hit me once...so first i thought, hmm that's wierd, so I ask what the hell are you doing? To which he said "give me gold or I kill you". So, naturally I told him to **** off ...so after a few verbal exchange he zerg up and kill me...
So I thought, wow, I'd like to think that little common sense and courtesy do apply in game but this guy...
Anyway, I lose about less than 1% of exp, which is not too bad but because I have gold ticket that kind pissed me off...but i digress, pot up and go back to play...
well, sometimes later he come again and start all this idiotic thing yet again...and i figure he is higher lvl than me so i just run...but then i get tired of running and run back to hotan...to my surprise he just follow me and stay there...at this point I should just log off but against my better judgment I talk to him...asking him why the hell are you doing this? To which he said, he wants my sos and if he kill me second time or third of whatever many times i will drop it....

Any of you guys have suggestion to deal with punk like this guy?
Also, can anyone confirm that you cannot drop items unless you are a murderrer?

i'd kill him the moment he goes offender. if he's higher lvl try and find a higher lvl friend to help you out. just having the high lvl there hanging around should make him think twice. either that, or just take a break from sro for awhile or find a different grinding place. good luck

that happened to me too what server are you on?

well the guy who did it to me kept on shooting me with normal arrows and he was at least 57 i think. he was kinda talking with his lowbie guildmate just outside of Hotan east bridge. kept on giving me 100~200 dmg and i was thinking i could be hit by a flower for 500 after he makes my life <500 with his arrows. i cant zerk him coz i was only using a measely 42 spear. then i got annoyed so when he turned offender for 5th time, i switch to sword (yes i got double weapons) and KD him and i said "lol" and both of them found it funny too.

i was secretly msg-ing the union for any Lv60 nearby so they can surprise him when he's still offender but when i KD him (nth time i forgot) and phantom'd away, they were gone some 2mins when i got back to the area.

you cant drop your equipped weapon if I remember it right (thought someone said that here :roll:

)..or else, get a higher lvl friend idd

yea if your pked or killed by a monster you can drop everything on you but your equiped weapon you can drop your equiped armor tho so if yu see him agian tell him to **** off cause he has no chance of your sos droping.

Strange, I was in a similar situation yesterday.

I was a level 23 fighting devil bugs for quests. This guy came over to me, wearing lvl 20-24 equipment, he tricked me into caping him. He was actually a 3x, and I am a 90% mag balance character. Needless to say he killed me in one hit. Everytime i res'd he would keep killing me, he wouldnt let me take my cape off. After a while, I called him a noob, he laughed at me. I then call him a noob again, explaining why i called him a noob, saying that this is the only way he can have fun, tricking low lvl's into caping and not letting them take the cape off. Then he says that he doesnt speak english. I prove him wrong, saying that he laughed in english(as in hahah, most spanish ppl say jajaja to laugh) and talked in english. He then says that he is sry, and wants to be friends. I say no, and to **** off, then he gets mad, he goes offender status on me. I use cold-wave on him, and he didnt bring his pills, so some high lvl trader comes and kills him. Like 20 mins later, he comes back, I call him noob again, and he laughes at me, going offender then grinding it off. So I out-think him, i get devil bugs to get me to low hp, then turned off my auto pot. He tries to go offender status again, but crits and killed me. I laughed at him and called him noob, he didnt reply, and signed off immediatly.

Moral of the story, out smart him, most ppl that do stupid stuff like that, probably arent too smart

Yeah, I guess I am bound to run into stupid people. For me because I don't play very much, cape fight only once. I am more of those quiet player who grind once a while, trade run here and there, help out a trader once a while. I bought the gold ticket so I don't play too much, but turns out that I play even more, well that's another story hehe...

In conclusion I guess the only way to deal with these people is to get to a higher lvl than them ,which won't happen to me since I don't play much, and kill him once he goes offender. Or get a high lvl friend. I don't think I will see this dickhead again but if you play on Babel and see a murderrer please kill him immidiately...
