I don't need to be lvl 100 to know how the game works, or at least how it could work. I see people in SRF complaining all the time about how difficult it is to grind at the high levels, complaining that there are no legits at lvl 100 to grind with, throughout all of the servers.

If there are so many on SRF complaining about the difficulties around lvl 100, there are bound to be a good number of people doing the same complaining who don't browse or post on SRF. If all of those complainers actually got together in the game and formed parties, things could get better. I'm willing to bet that on any given server, it's not that there are no lvl 95-105 legit players to grind with... but the players at those levels just don't know about each other and don't do much to try and find each other. If perhaps there really are NOT any legits at that level, then there certainly should be some at lower levels like 75-85 or so. Those can grind together to reach the high levels.

I've only ever reached lvl 54 on my blader, but I don't see much of a difference between lvl 54 and lvl 100 besides the experience and SP requirements being much higher. At both level ranges, you still grind, quest, party to try and level. You just do it on different mobs on different areas of the map. It's not impossible. You just have to work longer at it and make more of an effort to find each other.

But I guess some people just like to take the easy, lazy way out and just auto-accept a bot party.

lol so true on Pluto, a pretty dead server (more then ordinary) there was a surprising amount of lvl90+ legits. Its just they didn't get to know each other or else they could've partied, bu most of them ended up botting due to very hard lvling.

Yeah, my older character is MajinCooler which is now owned by someone else and turned into a Wizard/Cleric after I gave up on it. And my current character is Aeonic, whats wrong about that? And I spent my best days in SRO in Dynasty. I joined OVERDOSE after Dynasty fell and I had no hope in it coming back after my great friend AllEyezOnMe left AKA Noxx.

A minor correction, I also joined _Evolution_.
I merely follow my friends who I am faithful to and stay in their guilds until it gets broken down or we change guilds, thats what I am.

My point is, there are probably at least 7 other players (maybe more) on your server at any given time who are facing the same problem as you. They try to look for a good Euro party, but only find "bot party needs blah blah blah". If one of you started forming your own new party, instead of just joining a party that already exists, you may find yourselves in an actual Euro (or Chinese) party free of bots.

It may take time, but eventually if some other people in the server keep seeing a "majincooler looking for legit Euro party" or whatever, every day, they may end up joining you.

Maybe I'm a bit biased because on my blader I can grind by myself. If I want to party, I can form one in the party match system and go out solo grinding while I wait for people to come join me.

I guess it doesn't work too well in the short term, especially for an int or euro who can't solo grind very well, but once other 'lonely legits' discover that you are also a 'lonely legit' who wants to party, maybe you'll get something going.

I guess the alternative is to just abuse the system (which technically is against TOS) by partying with bots. I understand "partying with bots" isn't specifically against the TOS word for word, but bot software takes advantage of a bug or glitch (for lack of a better term) in the system, and by partying with them, aren't you also taking advantage of that? Bug abuse is bug abuse. Could explain some of these 'random' bans I hear so much about.

Everyone knows deep down, that there is barely anyone legit on iSRO nowadays. Stop lying to yourselves; the first step on the road to recovery is admittance. If you can't handle the fact that the game's population is made up of 99% botters after however many years the game has been out, then you should seriously take a better look at the iSRO world you play in and the people that make it up...

Reading this is almost like sitting there listening to old people talk about the "good ol' days." knowing damn well that things have changed and can't face up to their own inability to adapt.

And if you don't like the bots, the solution is simple. Find another game, or shut up and color. I did the former early on, and despite what flaws Aion has; for a Korean MMO, I still enjoy it.

Brief synopsis of the level caps for Silkroad:

60 cap = Can't say, didn't even hear about this game at that time.

70 cap = Same as above.

80 cap? Yeah, it was possible, however somewhat tedious to get 80 and full farmed perfectly legit. It became even easier to be legit when the European expansion came out. Hell, I'm pretty sure that's what started the whole idea, at least here on SRF, at any rate.

90 cap, a bit worse, reports of more people resorting to botting due to whatever reasons they had for justifying it. However, despite all this, there were still plenty of legitimate players to go around.

100 cap, way more botters than legits ingame, very few of them even remaining. The ones that continued playing, finally turned into botters themselves. Whether they admitted it to themselves or others or not is their own deal.

110 cap, I call bullshit if you got to 110 full farmed and say you're legit. You're just lying to yourself and everyone else you interact with. I've noticed that most people don't even care nowadays whether you do or not.

I would say that this is the truth of the matter, whether it hurts or not.
