I installed the new SRO client, giddy and gay with joy. I loaded up my monster and awaited to play. Alright, so the inspection lasted the entire night and I got no sleep, forgetting about a paper I had to digitally turn in~ but this new content and obviously better game will be all worth it, I'm golly gosh shure!

Finally, VICTORY day, I logged in after waiting with 22,000+ people on rev6. Oh how proud I am with my 78 nuker, a SOM S/S set and sun accessories, a result of reselling like mad for weeks. I think finally, I can do trades with people, CTF fairly and party all the time and level up SUPER DUPER FAST!

1 hour later, my part comprised of half turks and mostly chinese chars gained 6.1% from chasers due to a few 82-84 wizzies using Lifecontrol, and then the 4-5 deaths as a result of not understanding what "bless" or "buff means".

It was chaos, no one cast speed, PQ, lured, cycled bless or earth barrier, the works.

I did a trade, 1 hit K'O'd by a 90+ wizard.

I came to a realization.

A person with a good party at level 76+ with 0 gap and prem can make 18-25% per hour from legit grind. This person with a great party can level once per day from a Prem + and 5 hours of play. This person can level once per 2 days at level 80+, once per 3 days at 84+, once per 4-5 days near 90, once per week or week and a day at 92+, once per week-2 at 93-96, once per week-3 at 96-100.

To level from 76-100 on a 0 gap legitely with a party 5 hours a day would take 1-2.5 or 3 months. 1 is absolute best, as if God wanted to play silkroad. This is daily party with full time prem + and all members present.

Do you know how ridiculous that is?

This is under ideal conditions with a full euro party of only euros of all prem users always on mobs 10-11 levels higher, only euro for 20% exp/so bonus.

A person can do all of these things if they play daily.

A person can and never will, and do you know why?

Within 24 hours, everyone will have the leisure to bot again. In fact, I bet 9-12.

Some lucky bastards on Odin picked up a few bil and some nice SoX items. I wish all the luck to you in Iris, but this game is not getting better. I know this has been stated before, but if your a legit player, leave this game.

Sorry, but my goal isn't reaching the cap at all. It's nice when you can, but I can enjoy the game too as a lvl 60 or so...

I don't want to reach the cap, I want to enjoy the game, reachin the cap makes you feel like there isn't anything to do anymore then. But I want to enjoy about the pt grinding, trade runs, talking and all that.

Im here for fun, not to sacrifice my life to reach the cap very fast. Just enjoy the game, if you can't enjoy it, why do you still play it?

This game is indeed boring when you don't have anyone or much people to socialize with. And if you focus too much on reaching the cap you will get discouraged. If you had a guild full of really fun people you wouldn't be posting that journal.
