I am just tired of idiots like that... my guild is one of the best in the server (by best i mean fair play, not top by players or something), it's from 3 years and everyone knows we don't make problems and stuff like that. I mean, what's the point of even playing fair, when some fucker will come to screw u over just because he's to noob to reach your level.

I'm just confused. From reading it I guess one of your guildmates tried selling his character and just got scammed. How the hell is that a hacking. That's just someone is an idiot on one said and gave out too much info before the deal was done.

The only way to truly hack an account is by brute forcing it over a mindblowingly long time or getting your victim to visit some site so you can get them to dl a virus.

I don't see why you're pissed from his chat. If anything just ignore the idiot. He got lucky and managed to scam a character. It happens. Several of my friends wanted to sell their characters and just ended up getting it scammed from them because they gave out all their info at the beginning of the sell. Best you can do really is to just rape them anytime you see them with a cape or jobbing lol.

Nerdrage can only last so long. Kids like to act big on the internet, when they realize you're ignoring them, they'll get sad and find someone else too piss off.

Hmm you sure she didn't share the account with anyone? Most of the hacks i know of are just a friend relationship turn sour and they "hack" the account.

If not, she should check her computer for any keyloggers or anything. Losing a SRO account is one thing, a bank account is much worse.

Yes i know. We are still trying to figure out what happened. There are many people who may have been hacked her, i don't think anyone is really interested in the whole long story.
About the PC, a friend of mine reinstalled it and checked it, there were some viruses but he said they're not connected with sro or stuff like that. I don't really know how to answer you, i am a complete noob with computers...

your friends prolly did what goseki said, the problem with sro is that to be strong you have to share with friends or just get closer, and that in potential could leave an opening for a hack attempt.

and lets be clear about this hack definition for a sec, theres no real hacking in sro, all just a bunch of silly games of guess or phish. id also avoid sharing gmail, yahoo, msn, xfire, facebook, heck just being on TS and you can get the other persons IP and force your way in. trust me theres alot of ways to get information online.

Not by a legal way, but if i have to be true it's pretty useful. Sometimes i almost regret i can't do the same, because taking million of screenshots for a chat is a pain in the @ss and if the chat is long you can't capture all of it
