It’s NOT a stupid thread. Everybody whom plays silkroad would love to kill an unique (if they haven’t done so already). And when they do, they’re quite proud of doing so. Why? Cause on one server there are only three unique’s, and 1000’s of players wanting to kill them, if you’re the one to succeed, that’s a special thing, and they’d love to post about it. Even if they’re lvl 70 (TG - which is wrong, but understandable).

I don't really care if someone kills a unique.

Exactly, you don’t care. But a lot of people do. And even on Babel there will still be people getting that extra feeling off killing an unique (and no I don’t mean an orgasm :S). Killing uniques get’s people’s imagination going, How things would be if they killed it, instead of the other. As I said, it’s a special thing. And every kill/topic is different, drops? Etc. You can always just skip the posts about unique’s if you don’t like them.

I think this is exactly what Nightbloom means. People get to irritated about things not even worth getting a little irritated about, and start flaming. This is what constantly happens on tavern, and what used to never happen here. Don’t like a topic or post, then don’t respond in it, let it be. Flaming opinions don’t count anyway. (and no, I did not just call you a flamer, just getting a point through).

Nightbloom put into words what I think is going on as well.

Negativity feeds negativity. While I don't think that all the people she mentioned are the problem, some are and many others have been dragged down due to a select few's constant nitpicking and general attitudes towards other people.

We all have bad days but some people are making it their reason for being.

SRF is a nice, slightly noobish, good community and that is worth preserving. I have made this my home. I like it. I like Ryoko and I tink he does a good job here. He's built a great forum. Im willing to use my powers for good. ~grin~
