Yeah, if they permanently banned 26 REAL players, especially 'important' players like large union leaders, high level, full sun, etc... It would make a good impact on the servers, instead of 26 gold bots that all happen to grind in the mangyang fields.

Not everyone in SRF plays SRO. The Mod team moderates a forum full of members who do different things, play games, not play games... Some of the SRF members just happen to play SRO. Don't fault the mod team for some SRF members' shortcomings.

Disclaimer: If I had time, I'd still be playing SRO. I wouldn't be paying for it, buying silk, spending huge amounts of time on it, but I have no problem with casually playing SRO when time permits.

this is the silkroad online General discussion. barotix moderates it(the community of the PLAYERS of silkroad online, that is generally discussed here). your constant attempts to play devils advocate backfires on you more often than not PROM. a mod enters a thread within the aforementioned section, disrespects those within that section, then is followed up by another mod reiterating what was said, then the initial mod basically brags about what he said openly. If I were to make disrespectful statements in reference to the mods of this forum, I would likely receive a punishment. This would generally be perceived as an abuse of power by some, but even if I held this opinion myself, it would be totally irrelevant, and likely viewed as disrespectful to mods. therefore making this wall of text pointless anyways.

I wasn't trying to play devil's advocate really. I don't play SRO anymore, but I still read and take part in discussions in GD. I do it partly to keep in touch with the community, and also out of curiousity to see what's going on in the game, new features, did they ban the bots yet? (ha), things like that.

I guess I assumed a lot of other people who don't play SRO also read/post in GD. Either way though CeLL, you're absolutely right. If we SRF members are required to respect the mods of these forums, the mods should also show respect to the members. It works both ways.

Well MrJoey, I would hope you wouldn't last long as a mod then. Mods shouldn't be insulting their members, unless perhaps those members are breaking rules. Even then, don't insult, just ban.
