Well, viewing it from the point of view of someone who is not NORTH American, I can guess it has a lot to do with what us (non-NORTH Americans) have to cope with in this game. Maybe it's not you, but loads and loads of NORTH Americans are really racist against anything and anyone that is not NORTH American.

P.S.: America is not a country, it's a continent divided into NORTH, CENTRAL AND SOUTH America

So after reading this thread it is my understanding that if you are from the USA you shouldn't refer to yourself as an American ... you should call yourself an United Stater? lol?

And just a note on the whole Iran, Iraq, Turkey history stuff ...

The US may not be perfect but the government is at least more tolerant of criticism.

Also what i meant by no specific culture is that the US has a variety of ethnic groups and different backgrounds therefore doesnt give out a uniform culture but rather bits and pieces of others ; you'll find asian,arab,south american etc ...

America has its wang in a lot of places it don’t need to be right now. The world doesn’t like us because of it. Yes, america is a very cocksure nation, but if it wasn’t for our resolve a lot of things would be totally different in this world. No one sees that. So just be an american, and don’t were about what some 12 year old turkish/spaniard thinks of you. Just be as respectful as you can to people of other nations so that even if they don’t like where youre from, they cant say YOU were a dick.


Also, you MUST keep in mind that a party runs smoother if everyone speaks on language, so it may just be that not everyone speaks english in the party, and they don’t want to cause issues.

I like the way you put it, we can't do much about what they will think of us and where we are from, the only thing we can do is just be respectful to them and hope they eventually change their opinion.
The United States does interfere with a lot of things that is not it's business but sometimes it is necessary for us to intervene if there is a threat to us...

He means every country does that. I dunno where you live but all the countries I went to (only 4 so far lol) do this. Not too many middle east countries since they do suicide bombing, but most countries cry over the lose of just 2-3 soldiers, cause those soldiers are in war to protect you, or to help you.
