I'll admit I've bought gold before on my first SRO account. But to say buying gold is not illegal or illegit is stupid. Of course it's cheating and illegal. Buying and selling of in game currency is strictly forbidden as all content is owned by Joymax or whatever other Company running an MMO. But then buying currency in other MMOs like WoW is monitored, which is why it is not recommended. I never risked losing my account on WoW to buy gold, just not worth it.

And if you think buying gold makes no difference you are wrong. It screws up the game completely for everyone. People who do play legit are at an incredible disadvantage forced to have to maintain gold income the same as others who are buying.

EVE Online conducted some research on their game with gold selling. The impact is incredible, not just the in game economy but also on the server loads.

i am TOTALLY LEGIT. never been plvled by a bot. (only plvled by my friend and thats it. never payed for a plvl) never brought gold or used MC or bot or anything.
the only maybe "non-legit" thing ive done is pk2 edit. but just pk2 editing my GUI and not to enhance my game play.

if you get plvled by a bot and you kno they are a bot. thats not legit. ofc its not. if you get plvled from 1-90 by a botter and never grinded. your not legit are you?

you do know that illegal programs are made by programming? i just do some clicks and tick something, then its already done i do not (ex-)change the original client, it stays the same and i DONT need to create a new programm / file

If you can't tolerate bots, you are as good as playing Silkroad Offline.
I would say most active players in iSRO bots themselves or atleast tolerate bots.

lvl60 & 53 on isro luls, but I don't play anymore there, instead of botting I switched to ECSRO, no need for illegal programs on there

What are you on some private srever cuz your sig screems I USE BOT AND MULTI. I mean come one that many characters (if that is real) at those lvls adn ff, well you know where i am heading.

Second, being lvl 90+ and on sro for more than 2 years is easy, yes easy, 3-4 hours grinding max and not even every day.

Gold on the other hand is even easier to get if you know what you are doing. You could easily have 10billion, what i said 10 billion? YES, just cuz you noobs cry all day saying i cannot make gold booo hoooo. To make gold you sell tiems Non-legit gold buyers want. +7(and higher lvl 98 weapons(i have made over 50 of such items(+9 too but iit failed for +10). Stones, buying sox and making htem fb+5(or higher) and reselling for profit, only 10 som sosun makes good enough profit now. You say i buy gold and crap. No need, i mean you could even buy elixirs from the lowest prices and sell them for 100k higher and sell them all when elixirs are not overloading the stall network and you will sell them fast. Stone making, weapon destroying (only your drops) is worth more than selling them at 10d accept if they have good stats. So many ways to make gold its not even funny. "RANT RANT RANT"
Dont comlain that you are poor cuz that is the lamest excuse for a "legit" To buy gold! IF you are truely legit you should have 18-20 hours to stall if you can run the comp all day. If you have 2 comps even better....making gold as alegit is easier than a botter cuz not all of them noobs have multi so they dont stall and just buy gold. Take advantage of them, overprice, talk up your items and die hard and sell hard!

me and my friend made about 1.5 bil at 90 cap. legit, it's called stalling drops. and we were very frugal with our money. didn't have any sox and only +4/5 sets.

Don't lie... I had sos 76 shield and cleric rod =)=) and you didn't mention a lot of my/our gold was from stalling sox drops.

Actually if you want to nitpick, nobody's money is legit, unless you never stall anything. It's all tainted by goldbot money in the system.
