Here's why Islam will most likely come in 2010-2011

Ok we've seen the new update Ksro has gotten.New city,new dungeon but no new race.

Joymax has told us they're developing Silkroad 2 to be done by 2010-2011.

Now if we compare that with Pred's(aka morningdew old[GM])post,just see and compare for yourself.

Implementing Islam would be an entire game. Joymax calls them "updates", Blizzard calls them "Expansions".

It's a completely NEW game integrated into the current one.

2002-2005 Joymax starts to develop Silkroad Online
End of 2005 Joymax releases "Chinese race" of SRO
Mid 2007 Joymax releases "European race" of SRO

If you DO see Islam, count on 2009-2010. I have never seen a single character model rendered for the Islam race. Concept art is nothing!

By 2009-2010 hopefully you'll be smart and move on to a different game by that time.

His prediction could be a year off if it releases 2011,but it may be done by 2010 as well.
Not too shabby right.

Do u think Islam will come in 2010-2011?If not explain.

Edit:I know islam isnt a race,but a religion,but I call it islam to make it recognizable and understandable to the masses.

despite the fact that you are pulling out a post from a reliable source ( and for that i have respect) this is still just another thread that can only lead to speculation and +1'ing post counts. aka pointless.

The fact is they have the power to implement the islam race next week if they wanted to. They also have the power to push back the release date of SRO2 if they wanted to. I wouldn't try to speculate too much on what they will do according to their patterns of the past.

it has to.. they added allot of things till now and now they add Egypt kind of things. Egypt is close to Islam so next update has to be islam

Ksro legend is now 9 IX
ksro legend 10 has to be X and i think islam is going to hit sro
and if i remember corectly Ksro had eu update in V am i right?

Don't care?Don't post.Simple as that.I know many people think it'll be coming out this year.
It isn't plain speculation,it's a GM's prediction.

As thus,it's nice to see if people agree or disagree with the reasonable chance of it happening by that time.

I care, because I play silkroad.

If you don't care about the game nor about what its players care about... why are you posting on this board?

I'd love to see islam released. Seeing the awesome job they did with europe I'm dying of curiosity of seeing what their game-designers are pulling off for the islam update.
And I'm sure the gameplay additions will be super exciting.
And I fancy playing a muslim warrior very much. Something very virile and brute and fun about it, as well as subtle and artsy. Killer combo.

Artsy and curvy... the blades, the architecture : muslim art is curvy, that means feminine.

his gm powers didnt extend beyond the forum. a job title is just a job title. he had in game powers related to the forum. such as to ban an account for being unruly on the forum.
