I used Mana Drain, the first book of the series simply because there is no reason to use the AOE one and have to wait for a longer cool-down. Much like I didn't use the AOE Lightning Impact (Fear) for the same reasons.

I have the Cleric bind, not the Wizard one... but I hardly use it since the next magical attack he sustains will free him anyways (not to mention if he has the Sword Dance series or the other sword-throwing series, its pretty useless in that situation.)

Also, he was pilling off every status I threw on him.

Plus, as I mentioned before, Bind status is almost useless to me because Magical attacks will free him, not Physical attacks. It benefits Warrior/Clerics more than Wizard/Clerics, as they have pure Physical attacks that wont free him from bind.

Well, at Level 94 with my all my gear I got around 15k~16k HP and around 33k MP, but even then, what they say is true but it usually applies if you're spamming all your AOE skills at once. There is a reason why I am using skills such as Firebolt rather than Meteor, and Frozen Spear rather than Blizzard, and that's Mana consumption. Actually, the most usage I can do with MP is when I am playing Cleric and there is no bard around, that gets me down to nothing in no time at all.

But, since the defense benefits of Light Armor far outweigh the cost of less speed and more MP consumption; I will stick with it -- tried and true.
