Silkroad Odin :: Medusa Kill in Hunter/Trader suit

Well, my union got bored with killing Medusa normally and we decided to mix it up some and kill Medusa in our Hunter/Trader suits. It went off well without a hitch. We had a small Thief problem but was easily dealt with.

That would be the Petrify circle. If you stand too long within that circle, you get Petrified. If you see some people are stuck in stone unable to do anything, that's what it does to you. Lasts for about a minute, does damage over time, and you cannot use pots or anything. Someone else must heal you until it wears off.

No. I have my Arial font modified. I can't remember the site I downloaded it at, but if you want I can upload the font file.
EDIT: Nevermind. I don't know how to get it copied out of my fonts folder to do so. I know there is the fix somewhere on these forums though...

How much sp do you get a kill/ how long does it take to kill it?

About 3k for just the Medusa kill only. All the Uniques combined... usually about 1, sometimes 2 Uniques on floor B5, Shinmoo The Man of Flames, The 4~5 Lv 95 uniques in B6 or SoSo The Black Viper + Medusa herself... that can easily be 8k to sometimes 10k SP.

I honestly don't know. We have called her Medusa way before she came out for iSRO. It could have been a translation of the mob in jSRO/cSRO and what not. Just like the Lottery system in kSRO is called Magic POP in iSRO...

I daresay its more out of habit than anything else.

Also, How long would it take for a wizard to solo from 1-64 playing around 5 hours a day? Just a estimate lol.

I dunno, there are so many factors to consider. Is the wizard full farmed? In my case, no. All the SP I have earned has been months of hard work after work hours in the Air Force. I have yet never reached cap on time with everyone else. Tried a progressive gap from 80 to 90, that took forever, and I only managed to get to Lv 86 -- and then I left for Air Force Basic Military Training in November 08. When I came back and started playing again, I had to 0 gap to 91 and then open a 9 gap, which I have maintained until this day. I'm gonna continue it until I reach 1 mil SP, or maybe even go the whole hog and get all 1.6m.

Do you just gain a gap as you level or delevel?

That's what I meant by progressive gapping, you gain a gap as you level up. It takes forever to get capped that way... so I'm not doing that method again this time. I'd rather 0 gap to 100, delevel the mastery back down to 91 and then 9 gap from there until I get what I need.

Oh i see. That's kind of what i've been doing with my 65, except I close the gap every time I get a new skill or something. Like I gapped from 41 until I have enough sp for 58 because that's the new soul spear. Then I gapped to 65 for new imbue. Then i'm starting a gap again. I think it's way too boring keeping a gap for a long time.

Well then again, I level by going into parties at Lv 99 mobs. I earn SP twice as fast than I do soloing.

I have never ever seen a european party in the whole time i've played silkroad except for a few videos on youtube.

Oh. I've always wanted to start a euro but theres no partys and soloing is boring when your a wiz because you get 1hit with lc at low levels. And if your something else then you usually get ksed.

Hehe, nice... We were gonna do it last night after a bargain run, but just as we suspected, we had DC Problems, almost half the party got wiped at 20% HP. Really is boring now huh, they need to release Roc already.

But hey, imagine if you had a warlock who can sleep her all the way... That is just disgustingly boring huh?
