yea but i also think players have the %age too because my friend got a +7 with almost full blue and tried to add more blue and it never went on at all and removed the aprrox 90% phy attack on a 2h

i personally never made a +5 only got my sun spear +4 7 times, all failed to +5, then i give to Spanktastik, who did it first try

dude lol i know what u mean ive got all my gear at +3 and then weapon at +5 when i was just bored. i brought 2 other spears with very similar stats and i thought.... meh if i loose this then i hav another 2.
o btw im not rich i brought 2 level 76 spears (and 1 80 spear) of one guy for 2m :D they are all +3

I personally do not believe it has anything to do with character.

I somewhat believe location plays an effect - because back at 60 cap, there was this place you could stand on the world map and ++++++++ anything you wanted and they had to fix it and remove those items.

Maybe you tried 100 elixirs and failed.
And your friend tried 2 elixirs.
You can't say you won't get it in 2 more attempts YOURSELF
Cuz you never tried
And if you tried
Still a chance you can fail
we call this "RNG" random number generator.
Thats why they call it 'luck'.

If an item went +1+2 fail +1+2+3 fail +1 fail +1+2 fail

I'd find a new item.

And that item often go +1+2+3+4+5

Some items, go +4 fail +4 fail +5, not too bad.

But still. If its crapping out on 1/2/3 find a new one. Save yourself the agony.
