D9 vs. D10 Accessories... Discuss!

These are white, and third tier of both degrees...

D9 Neck 25.5 Defense (Edit: Absorption)
D10 Neck 28.7

Now the other accessories are similar in variation, so tell me why it's not more practical to save a ton of money and say screw it to maybe a cumulative 10-20 Mag/Phys defense and just pimp the shit out of some 3rd tier D9+5 access.

I notice accessories absorb as armor defends. I used to know the difference before my 3 year break lol... Could someone elaborate plz and ty.

Yeah, To be honest, Accesories are more important towards your def than your armour itself. And as said, that small % makes alot of difference.

The numbers don't "stack" like that, you don't add them up. Each one takes a percentage away one at a time.. like this:

4 accessories, 25% absorption each.

10, 000 damage is dealt to you originally.

First accessory takes away 25%, now it's 7500.
Second does the same.. now it's 5625.. then 4219 and the final damage is 3165.

(Math would be 10,000 x .25 = 2500 therefore 10, 000 - 2500 = 7500.. etc.)

As you can see.. accessories are very important, even more so than your clothing. Any smart player would take a sun necklace over a sun chest any day.

You should be able to find some cheap last tier 8D jewels pimped out in Hotan or Jangan for cheap, unless you're on one of the newer servers. I just bought a set for like 5-10m a piece +4+5 100% immunities.

I guess I got lucky, cause I logged in on one of my old characters and found that it was still in a guild, a very very inactive guild and I tried the vote for new leader and found a ton of elements and 8D tabs in there xD. Note the entire guild of like 33 hasn't logged in over a year lol. So I perfected my 8D jewels for free
