Minimalist Survivable Build (Chinese)

Hey. I'm that guy that just lurks these days.

I just finished downloading the L4 client even though it doesn't work yet, apparently.

Anyway, instead of having goals like 100 or 90 I'm going to set a reasonable goal like 42, since I've never made it past D5. I don't have money to throw into item mall either so that seems realistic without tickets and whatnot.

What's a low-cost SP (read:crappy) build that I can have some fun with while leveling up to 42? I'm thinking Pure INT S/S since I've never tried that past Lv20. Planning to level with a 2 gap or 0 gap, and play casually (probably no guild will take me). I also don't know what server.

P.S. Not a bow build. =(

Yea, the update isn't out yet, but it will work in 3 weeks at the latest.

Pure int s/s can cost a lot of SP, bicheon has a ton of skills. I would suggest a glavier. Something like fire/glavie with low light/low ice for grass walk.

I calculated it out to 42glaive, 42fire, 30ice, 32light.

Overall, its 25.8k SP.

Glavie:
All skills 'cept the 15 second buff

Fire:
Lv1 imbue (for pure str, the difference is hardly noticable)
Physical attack buff
Magical Defense buff
Passive

Cold:
Snow Shield
Passive

Light:
Concentration
Grasswalk
Ghost walk
magical attack buff (optional, you will hardly notice it, but it is only 323 total SP for 32)

I just looked at the gap calculator thing, and you will need to 4gap to get it.

Try and join a server with friendly people, you can easily find free ong taxis.


Lv1-10:
Grind with a 0 gap, leave skills at 10.

Lv11-26:
With skills still at 10, get power leveled until your 26. This will net you 29,745 SP. That's already enough for 42.

0 gapping to 42 gives you 8k SP, but if you could manage a 2 gap it would allow you to get light higher. Other than snow, ice is worthless till 60.

If you manage a 2gap, you get 43k SP.

37 of that 43k SP gets you:

Fire42:
Maxed imbue, maxed all skills but nuke/detects

Light42:
Concentration
Magic attack buff
Ghost walk
Grass walk
passive

Cold30:
Passive
Snow

Glavie42:
All skills

I would not bother to be honest, whats the point of getting to lvl 42? Might as well find a better game.
Try Ecsro, its easier to lvl there and you get 2sp per kill with 0gap lol.

Actually pure int s/s does requires a high amount of SP speacially bicheon.

If you're on Venus just play a euro char maybe a wiz/bard it is easy to lvl, same goes for rogue/bard it goes FF easy.

Anyhow,

I strongly recommend a European character. I know you're asking about chinese, but I already put a fair amount of effort into that last post, so hear me out.

As a european you will enjoy:
You will win PvP vs. Chinese players your level almost every time*
Less SP for your build

but most importantly, party grinding. Getting to 42 will be faster, and easier if your entertained.



*Rogues at level 40 seem to 1 hit almost anything. Prick/combo blow. Nukers don't seem to have +5 HP600 str6 sets like they do @ cap, and those blues are a very large % of the total HP.


Also, I suggest rogue/cleric.

Assuming you only get to 42...
If you do the powerlevel till 26, then 2 gap...

You can get literally every skill in the rogue and cleric trees. All of em.

That said, a lot of the cleric skills would be a waste of SP, but you could afford them if you wanted them.

This means that no guild will take me since I won't contribute GP or whatnot, and I'll be very inactive. Chinese builds can solo fairly easy, plus they're the ones I know best (cough since the old days cough).

I made an ice glaive and it got pretty tiring to use after a while, so I started to switch to fire and then gave up in disgust.

Oh well, we'll see what goes down.

Venus is supposedly the most legit, but they take it to an extreme in my opinion
Almost all the other servers have at least 1 legit union
All the servers have a ton of turks
All the servers have a ton of bots


Also, most of the guilds I have been in just want entertaining people. GP doesn't matter much, all it does is put a 16x16 picture next to your name.

IMO if you are joining Venus and want an easy build to level w/, get wiz/bard. They are fairly easy + you can solo with them if you avoid the giants/champs/party mobs. There are also a few casual guilds in venus

bard gets you in a party
Str bard and int bard are almost the same exact same thing
they both do the same job effectively, str survives longer, int can battle bard.

if you're going to be that inactive and such why not consider ecsro, 10 times xp rates and extra sp, could be 42 with in a few days of grinding easy

100cap opens, take powel level. 1 to lv 70 in 1½ week pleveled by lv100...lv80 possible 2 week and few days.. lv 90 in 1month with lil farm what u say? cool ^^
