Bard + Cleric Support Build

Hi guys, long time no see.

I have decided to come back to SRO and try out the European Race (only played chinese race.. got lvl90 in pacific if that matters).

I am planning to go Bard + Cleric. Some people have told me that I would have a really hard time lvling up solo. Some say that as long as I find a pt Iw ill just lvl fine.

Now my question is: Realisticly speaking I won't be able to be a in a functional pt every single time, so there will be times that I will have to lvl solo, will it be that slow lvling up compared to other euro builds? How would this build be in pvp area?

The goal for me as usual is to have fun and play a support build in party (cleric), at the same time I don't want to suck at pve solo nor at pvp.

You'll be fine solo with bard nukes. I've seen it done and it works.

It's not that slow, but not as fast as other builds.

I have a level 75 bard/cleric w/ lvl 72 bard skills/70 cleric skills. It's pretty SP intense, though, so I would suggest farming.

Yep, the nukes are plenty fine, just kind of stinks until 60. You get one nuke and an AOE nuke before then. After 60, you get a nuke that hits 3 mobs. I can two-shot party ongs and three-shot champ pt ongs, and I am a hybrid with 5-6 levels of STR. Not bad for a support build.

PVP for me is slightly more difficult, but I can still kill fairly easily as long as I can survive a nuke. Again, due to my hybrid, this is more of a support character.

You will not suck at PvE or PvP It's fun being able to play either bard or cleric. The only choice is what armor you want, LA or robe. LA makes you keep your cleric almost equal to your bard skills.

Hmm, you will always find a party (in venus though) , as a bard or a cleric, or you use your tambours & dances, or you save lifes ^^

you can use absolute damage spell too for lack of nukes :S

but unless you farm early (like with your lv 90 lol) you wont solo well :S its hard to gap and solo for euros that arent xbow (at least from what i can tell, but i only played on xbow lol but i heard others have problems)

I played bard/cleric until level 40. Soloing as bard isn't a problem. Solo with bard cleric is actually really good at low levels especially if it's your first char on the server. You save a lot of money (no pots needed). Also it's fast because you get moving march and noise.

Just make sure you start on Venus so you can find parties later as soloing get's boring eventually. (I in later levels changed my build so I'm not sure about bard/cleric after 40, sorry)
