This forum has gone down hill ever since the banning of bots on a forum. The intelligence of posts, number of interesting posts and overall life of these forums was much better and stronger previously.

Currently it is similar to a dictatorship. Step out of line and BAM! Where the **** is the fun in that? Reading a flame thread IS interesting and fun every now and then. All the threads nowadays are as bullshit and boring as this current one... Seriously, who gives a **** about the harmony circle so much as to make an entire thread devoted to it!

If you want to produce better logic, perhaps you should go back into time when bots were not rampant. The forum started dying when majority of people started to bot after Game Guard stopped being updated in 2006. If you want the forums the way they were during the bot revolution, how about you go to the Tavern or sroMMO forums and post there.

The forums started to die when the witch hunt began. Are you aware of some of the 'known' people who were previously banned?

GameGuard NEVER stopped botters. That statement alone illustrates my point exactly. Bots have almost always been in SRO. By always i mean from the beginning months of the game. The only thing that has changed has been community perception of bots which is Joymax's fault. These forums have taken disliking botters to an unreasonable level.

If you want the forums the way they were during the bot revolution, how about you go to the Tavern or sroMMO forums and post there.

I was one of the first members of Tavern and am well aware why people moved away from those forums. It was not specifically because of botters, they were rather an insignificant reason. The largest reason imo was because of the moderators of Tavern compared to how the moderators USE to run these forums.

Go read the forum titles in GD currently. Threads such as OMG I MADE A +5.... ARE JOYMAX BANNING BOTS??.... EVENT AVATAR TRADING.... HARMONY CIRCLE..... All these topics lead to shit boring posts. Far less interesting than when there was threads regarding rivalry of guilds, INTERESTING videos, intellectual discussions and overall emotion! People were themselves and didn't have to act as f*cking robots.

This community needs characters. People who are different. For example, BlackFox? (Name may be slightly wrong). As dumb and stupid as he was, he brought entertainment to these forums. People had jokes and laughs at his expense. It was FUN and FUNNY to read. Itonami and her crew. The mod that was banned, Sylph??? (soemthing like that). It's been a while since these forums had any life so s0z for the gaps in memory.

Hmm So i've finally had a chance to check back on this topic. StacE, you're the stupid one. Plain and simple. Don't go calling everyone here stupid when it's your fault you didn't bother to read other ppl's post. This game has been out for several years now. The "OMG check this out!" aura isn't around anymore since so many ppl have explored this game. More servers = a more spread out population. Yes, not every post here is interesting, but just because it's not exciting to you doesn't mean everyone else doesn't care. If you have nothing to contribute, than don't post. Flaming others over your inadequacies is neither necessary nor wanted.

I've only recently joined SRF, but I don't see how topics in General Discussion about Silkroad can be intellectually stimulating, unless you happen to find Flame Wars as such. Seeing as how you admit to enjoy flaming others, i'd assume yes.

In short, i started this topic, and i'd appreciate it if you'd stop posting flame shit and only post if you have something relevant to the topic.

To those who helped prove that Champs can't attack in the 3rd book Harmony and up, Thank-you. Now we all know that higher lvl force can protect against Champs.
