1st guys, stop complain about its not in ur country, u relaize that their are more games from jm/co firms, they will set up like 150pcs there, there must be a game fairy, a gm must be there, install all the crap admin it, u have a plan HOW Farking mutch work that is ? no u aint, shush then pls and 10k ppl more, who need get pay aso aso, so think again
2nd, 2 the dutch ppl here, i sure understand ur point, but there is someth u dont see, 1st u need 2 travel 1k km (whats not the big issue) but, (just outa my memory, i was 2 times there so, let me tell ya that) on the 1st gngwc should be 16 ppl, atleast 9come 2 the event, same on gngwc 2 i think it was 12 at the end, its totaly unpredictable for jm, who will come, and they call u 10k time if all will happen like u did say, so they sure dont take the risk 2 let come ppl from other countrys, even from 800km away, the chance that this ppl dont come in the end is quite high

Mhh not sure if I should apply ... don't feel like travelling to East Germany for that *shiver* ... in case I made it.
I think one main reason that they support so few countries is that they need a partner who can offer LAN support for the country-specific finals. Which in GER's case would be the Games Convention, a huge exhibition/fair.
It also seems like they have picked the countries that form the biggest %age of players... maybe a year ago they released a statistic where GER, TR, BR, EGY and the US were on top.

The only problem is that our top PvPers are nowhere near California. They are in Florida, New York, and Canada. It's all a matter of making it there. If they could get there, I really don't think there'd be anything stopping them except for Cuch's experience.

Don't mean to be a Negative Nancy
but
The only problem i see with people going from one country to another country that is hosting it.
Is that they may not be eligible since it requires for the participants to be a current resident or citizen of said hosting country.
But then again they might not check into it. It all depends on how they run things
