bytheway, anybody knows how mirage works? i tested on some monsters but seems no function at all. reduce aggro should stop their atking on me, but not really. thanx.

If a monster that is originally non-aggro begins attacking you, Mirage will make it stop. But if the mob was aggro to begin with, it will not stop attacking.

If you have Recovery Division activated, it will have no effect because Recovery Division constantly aggros mobs towards you.

when i (im warlock/cleric) was grinding in the caves i pissed off so many bot ptys by doing the folowing:

get in the room - get some agro mobs on you - run to the afk pty - mirrage - step aside and laughed at the dying noobs (somethimes i had to debuff)


mirage reduces agro by a certain amount, somethimes it isnt enough and you need to cast it a couple times. And about rec div: i have it on, mobs still lose their agro on me



and about axes being weak: they have more defence then a 2hander and resistance to most debuffs and status effects. as much as a warlock means heaven to you guys, that much means an axe hell to a warlock

or just use fear it will stop attack u and change target

fear is a wiz skill... and it just makes the mob unable to attack you, it still has agro on you


there are 2 ways for a warlock to lose agro from a mob: mirage and sleep (sleep and run away from its range)

Nope, and I just tried it again too. (With Phantasma, the level 80 skill. Casted it 5 times on a White Spider attacking me.)

Yes, you can get aggro mobs to attack someone else by reducing your aggro therefore making theirs automatically higher, but if you're the only one at a location and still near the mob's spawn point they'll keep attacking you no matter how many times you activate the skill unless a passerby comes then they'll attack them and not you. The reason the mobs stopped attacking you was because there were other people near you. Try it if you want- go somewhere where theres aggro mobs and no people. When they begin attacking you, cast your Mirage and see if they stop.
