if joy max baned once a week player bots would stop, gold bots would never get to hotan. The gold bots would still be making gold enough, for selling but if they baned the player bots over and over they would stop buying gold because they'd be loosing money on baned accounts. It would greatly go down if they did it weekly. But that would require a good company.

All Joymax has to do is turn off account registration. That will kill gold bots.

Just make 1 day or dedicated time of the day for account registration and limit how many people can register. After that cut it off for the rest of the week or day.

Then just ban the bots when they appear because I am sure they will appear. Not only would that put a strangle hold on the gold bots, but it will fustrate the hell out of them.

shuting down account registration for 1 day wont be enough. the goldbots will make accounts the next day. shutting account registration for 1 week will be too much, cause it might stop real players from making accounts. and any way bots will make their accounts the next day.

Or even talk about them, because I didn't know what a bot was until I seen a thread about them here. I bet this forums is a major source of ppl looking up info about bots. The info may not be from here, but it is the source and main thing talked about.

JM selling gold in item mall could do one of two things:

1. The number of gold-bots are reduced because players can now buy gold legally straight from Joymax (Premium ticket holders get discount? haha)

or

2. The number of gold-bots increases drastically forcing Joymax to remove gold from item mall. Due to legal competition, the gold bot companies find ways to plug more clientless bots into the game in order to increase the flow of gold into the game so they can keep their prices cheap and competitive with Joymax.


And in my opinion, number 2 is the most likely scenario.

Best way to stop bots is to make it so only X amount of people can be on a server, I don't mean a server cap, but I mean when you start the game, you have to choose a server, and then one spot gets taken up.

So like when someone registers, then joins Venus, the number of players on that server goes from let's say 2498/2500 to 2499/2500. Now only one more person can join Venus, and then it's full, no more people can join the server. Not only would this ELIMINATE server traffic, no if ands or buts, but it would help get rid of bots. Let's say 1000 of those 2498 players are legit, and joymax does a bot ban, now 1500 legits have a chance to get in the game before the botters do. This would slowly eliminate all botters

Joymax doesn't like that though, they like server traffic and money.

Before 2 weeks ago my game run perfectly. After the last server ispection my client crashed 10 times at day, game freeze and some other problems. Other players have the same problem (look at official forum).
