saw your video, you should totally forget about the kd thing, since it just gives time for your opponent's hp to rise back to 100%, and also you might not kd on the first try after you get the 2 status effect on the chain

get 2 of the chains effect in, switch to glavie, and they are dead
forget about the weakening of phy def/mag def, its not that much.

you obviously have weakness, just like every chinese, eg, getting 1shotted by rogues, wiz, clerics
and you will be screwed for later cap (you are either dropping weapon or fire or light for 90), but like i said before, each second of status effect is precious, (and dont act like a robot, if your HP is not low, dont use KD like you have in your vid) in those times your dmg increases atleast 30-40% i would say, so forget the kd, switch to glavie, stun and mars spam.

Ok, now that we cleared what he was trying to say in his first post..

example;

Rouge vs blader

Rouge starts with subclass buffs (rec. division.. holy spell... or moving march if bard) and a crossbow.

Blader starts with whatever buffs.

The rouge hits the blader first, causing minor damage, the blader phantom walks to him and does a KD move, it is unsuccessful.
The rouge KD's the blader, switches to daggers and does Dagger Desperate, followed by a mortal wounds while the blader is getting up.
The blader blocks a few hits, and is still alive.. the rouge gets a few more hits, but still, the blader lives.
The blader does another KD move, which knocks the rouge down,
Here's the important part, listen!
The rouge get's triple stabbed, with dagger desperate on, and he cancels by right clicking DD.. Then scuds away...

Fixed. I think woohoo lost a few battles to people who switched to shield while KD and got angry. WooHoo i also use a shield, and i can KD with my 2h sword, but i don't like idea of making it easier for me to roll other builds. I prefer challenges.

correct me if im wrong but i dont think u can cancel DD while you're laying on the ground being triple stabbed.

I havent played on my lvl 40 rogue in a while...

this is why rogue/clerics are gayyyyyy
they hit the shield key, and their defense goes from nothing as a rogue to greatness as a cleric with defense passives.

idk, i would have to battle server traffic on Alexander to try on my rogue.

man has a point here , kd is a special ability just like stun and knockback and should be treated the same way. Hell , if i get stunned i want to have possibility to pot if someone can switch to shield when he gets knocked down then.

but on the other hand , this version of game is run by only 2 people , so you can forget about fixing it.

It should be that way... in real life if you're being knockdowned you wont have time to switch to a shield...

in real life, when you get cut by a big blade you die

Someone posted above about Soul-Spear Mars. Yes they really do need to fix that it looks like crap without the swing around effect before legend 1. >< I think that was the reason i went Glavie was because of that move before legend 1 :/

Honestly if we are gonna complain about the being able to equip a shiel while being knockdown, then we should also complain ab out equipping a shield while in bind. It's part of the game. Alot of the people I see pvp they don't even equip a shield. Only the smart players have a shield on them. Hence, I always carry a trusty shield around.
