A Possible Change In Rules Here?
ok i noticed lately and a lot that ppl bring up old topics like the one below me *ryoko* lol but other ppl too so i would ask if you would put it in the rules to not bump a post thats not on the first or second page or 3rd if the mods choose
and i think if someone did this it could be a warning first then a 5 hour ban then a 3 day ban and if they did it more than that account is deleted

Bumping is allowed if the reasons for the bump are useful and the person who did a bump maybe had info for that post and didn't want to make a new thread.
Their doesn't need to be a rule for bumping. Just don't do it for a worthless thing.

A ban for bumping the second or third page? are you crazy? Sometimes i come home from an all nighter and school and have the go through 3 pages of posted in topics. Granted half are locked, edited, moved or completely useless, but meh whatever.

Re: A Possible Change In Rules Here?
the rule is there to prevent repeated topics over and over, had they not bumped it, im pretty sure that would have broken the rules. not that hed get slapped for it,but some smart ass would prolley search for the bumped topic and tell them to use search potentially leading to endless flaming and e-bashing, leading to the all time end of e-life as we e-know it!
possibly.
possibly.

Re: A Possible Change In Rules Here?
If someone bumps and old thread without a good reason, they should get a permanent forum title "Necroposter". Everywhere they post will be greeted with jeers and shame from other forum members.
