Rules: same as BlackHand (since we'll be allied with them once the guild gets to lvl 2), read them here.

I guess you could see TheGentlemen as BlackHand for low-level characters.

So if you're interested, agree with the rules (read them BEFORE applying!), and are at least lvl 20, let me know.

EDIT: TheGentlemen is NOT primarily for thieves, though thieves are allowed and welcome.

Well now I have another reason to try to get 20 asap. As soon as I do i will post again and pray that you are still recruiting.

The name is misleading... is this a male-only guild? If not, I might want to join since waiting for Never/Rage is getting a bit frustrating but BH is still an awesome guild, so being allied is just as good.

Good to see you re assembling your team Marcato, I know you and I have had a few difference of opinion on how the game should be played. I'm not saying one of is wrong or right just that were different. I would like to extend this olive branch to you. My IGN is Natalia 20, if you ever need help, or more muscle to escort a trade run please feel free to contact me, if needed ill breing a few guildies to help if availible.

I've seen you around Natalia20, but most of the time you're just standing there in your stall, selling stuff that is useless to me.

I need some help now. I need someone who wants to be a member to contact me (here, on the forum). I (with my old character) will add you as a member, give you the right to approve new members, and let you add me (with my new character) as a member, so I can transfer leadership of the guild from my old to my new character. Too bad you can't add people without actually meeting them in person in the game, or we wouldn't have to go through with this annoying process.

When Musashi777 is the guild leader, then the guild will officially open again, and recruit new members.

Actually, the guild is CLOSED again, until Ryoko lets me send PM's. I will not discuss guild matters in the open forum.

If you need someone to help transfer leadership I can help. I can use my newer character "Kenjijr" to help facilitate this if you'd like.

Thank you! Let me know ASAP when you can do this. I haven't been able to do ANYTHING with my guild for three weeks because I can't make myself a member, and no-one wants to help.

BH Athens is filling out nicely but we need to work on making guild wide cooperative efforts again, membership will be slowing down untill were a more cohesive unit. We've built a great core we need some time to bring the rest into the fold. I"m not creating policy here this is the result aof a conversation I hav with Never a few days ago. I'm sure there are folks on here that would like to join TheGentlemen. Is it BlackHand? No it isn't. Should it be BlackHand, no it shouldn't. BH is not for everyone it isn't any better then the Gentlemen, just different. We both play by the same rules. This being said TheGentlemen sould not be a second choice guild. We are still a small guild, a small cooperative and very effective guild. Keeping membership join rates at a slow crawl allows more guild bonding and better teamplay.

Nah, don't delete the guild. It might take some time to grow, but stick with it. If you're going to be on tonight I can help you. I will be on by about 17:30 US central time, but I'm not sure if that's still GMT-6 since we just went on dayllight savings time.

It does seem that you have people who are interested in joining the guild. It would be good to maintain your guild I feel. You've put in the effort and you got it going. Anyways, you could have asked any of us to help you out with that and you can always whisper us in game too. It's not like we're going to ignore you

My game froze when I was teleporting back to town, so I had to restart my computer.

But I'm not gonna bother about the guild, too much work and no ppl who are interested. The people who have asked to join the guild have for the most part joined other guilds by the time I get back to them, which makes me think they're all more interested in having a guild name above their heads than what the guild actually stands for. Screw it, there don't seem to be any players left that I want in my guild anyway.

Thank you, but I'll be joining BlackHand instead, if they'll take me. So the guild looks like it's gone...again...nice way to throw away 500k and a lot of time.

Speaking of inconsistency... if you read this thread its like.. Guild is opened, guild is closed, guild is open, it's closed, and now you are deleting it... Maybe thats why ppl didn't joined?

Most ppl just expressed their opinions and said you should keep it, why dont you just leave it in a char for later use?

And about ppl beeing more interested in having a guild tag above their heads then beeing in your guild, don't be so quick to judge.

I was the very first person to reply when BH opened in Athens, i sent PMs to Never and TO you for joining TheGentleman and didn't had any replies.

Maybe it was because i was low lvl (was farmming SPs) at the time, i don't know. Like Pro said guild should recruit the player not the character. You can't just hope that ppl will wait forever for a guild that gives them no feedback.

My opinion anyway.

This part of the opinion goes out to both Never and Marcato. People are willing to be patient but if someone has to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get an answer, if they get any at all, they would join another guild that has similiar beliefs to their playstyle. These 2 guilds maybe unique but it does not mean there are no other guilds that play by the same rules we play. Think about it.

Hey! Two days after Golguthar sent his PM, Ryoko took away my PM rights, so I couldn't answer any PMs! Less than two days, as a matter of fact.

I got in touch with everyone who's IGN I knew, and everyone I talked to had already joined other guilds. If you can't wait two days for an answer, then I don't think it's the guild that matters to you, frankly.

And you really shouldn't be the one talking about communication. I'm still most disappointed in the way you left the guild. Thanks for nothing.

All of this just makes me sick. I can't send PMs, so people think I'm an asshole for not answering, I can't get my guild open and everyone who used to be in the guild hates me and just left without a word as soon as BlackHand opened. Do you think that makes it fun to play?

Do you think that is motivation to keep on asking for help for weeks and weeks without getting any?

Do you think that makes it worth using 500k of your hard-earned gold and a LOT of time to try to recruit good players?

Well right you are then. I won't talk about communication anymore. If they won't wait even 2 to 3 days, it is their loss. I mentioned 2 to 3 weeks, not days anyway. With the issue about PMs, that I can't say much, though I do know about it. Oh then again, I'm not supposed to say anything about communication now aren't I?

Alright then. Have it you way, if I had hated you as think I do, I wouldn't have responded to your whisper. Ah forget it, we both can go on forever about it and all other issues related to the past. I doubt anyone hates you though you keep thinking so. Ah well, whatever floats your boat.
