I started on Athens because I figured it had quite a few players, but looking in these forums, I really do not see many

Prove me wrong!

It doesn't have many players on this forum. Best bet is to look in game.

Most forum regulars here are relatively high leveled on their own server, and REALLY didn't want to go do all the low lvl grinding quests again.

All us noobs, however, moved to athens because we had nothing to lose

Yeah, I just quit playing another game to come to SilkRoad, so, we shall see how it turns out.

I was formerly from Aege... ok I know it's a waste dumping my level 3+ and switched to Athens... but, the good side of it are:

1. Never once on Aege, I saw anyone do 2 star trade without escort. On Athens, I see that... a lot.
2. There aren't that many high level players yet, so you can take chances on killing thieves or hunters (w00t!)

But really it isn't so dead in there, except that lots of people don't really know what's going on and other things about the game. Athene just got asked today "Where do I find ghost bugs" and the person asking is standing around ghost bugs. Lots of over enthusiastic traders and hunters and thieves that go snivelling around, proding other jobs and getting their butts kicked. It's fun to watch

I still have no idea about jobs, the rating system, trading, etc.

It's all in the Guides and Tutorials section. If it's not you can always ask. It's late here now and I'm tired and sleepy. I'll get back to you later.

I'm on Athens now - was on Xian, but only got to lvl 18, so no biggie.

I'll be looking for a good guild soon.

I'm from Troy... Transfer to Athens coz' all of my forum friend want to start new......

And i left a lvl 3X Bow/ice there... ( Its had been 2 weeks & 4 days i last log-in to Troy)

* Its soo funny here to see a low level Thief try to rob u, And all i'm doing is 1 star trade run.. >.<

Im in athens have a level 20 and a level 12 character, sticking with my level 12

We should organise a trade run soon!

Oh ye, at level 20 i managed a 3* run alone, and jacked a 2* trade as a thief, pretty level playing field to be honest lol

I got a lvl 8 on Xian, herd my friend was on Athens wasnt sure about moving but on Xian i was laggin to bad but im not on Athens anymore only bin playin few hours im lvl 6+ atm

only like 5 % from games using forums, so u better look in game and see trhe real number !

I came to Athens as a newbie SRO player via my clan members on Battlefield 2. I always hear good things about teh Athens, me and my BF2 members have a guild on Athens and are part of a good union!

Athens were cool but now there are so many players there that even in the morning server is crowded and i hate it :]

in your profile.....type in athens as your location and then its recognised and it adds the flag
