Hello everyone. Now that I'm almost at the goal of 500k for a guild, I thought I'd check if there is any interest in a guild for real gentlemen (and women).

Guild rules include but are not limited to:

1) Do not killsteal. Yes, that goes for giants as well.

2) Do not steal. This includes not stealing drops from other players. You are allowed to play as a trader or a hunter, but not a thief. You are, of course, allowed to have another character that is a thief.

3) Help your fellow traders. If another trader is attacked, help him unless it poses a direct threat to your own life (in other words, if you're lvl 20, you're not expected to help someone who is attacked by a lvl 40 thief).

4) Be civil. Do not throw tantrums when people do you wrong. Tell them politely that you feel mistreated and try to make them see the error of their ways.

5) No cheating, no bots.

I would be looking from traders, hunters and healers (people who tag along to help out by fighting npc thieves/monsters and healing other players). Level 20 and up (lvl 23 and up preferable for hunters).

And perhaps most importantly:

6) Be as helpful as you can towards new players. You were all n00bs at one point or another, and I don't think you liked being picked on then. So don't do it just because you've reached lvl whatever.

Also:

7) No cheating n00bs (or others) by deliberatly marking up prices. I've seen new players asking where they could buy arrows, and people with stalls telling them to come there and buy, selling them arrows for two, three or four times as much as they cost at the blacksmith. This is neither cool nor honorable.

Athens, you say? I have a character on there... Since the Philosophers/Greeks/Athens guild never got together... umm... If I leveled up my Athens character, could I join and help out when I get tired of Xian-ing?

I am a very nice person in-game. I'm always helping noobs. But I do get angry at KSers and disrespectful people in the game, so I might want to murder one once in a while.

Can I join when I get to a higher level? I'm only 16 at the moment, but I try to play every day so I will be 20 in no time.

EDIT: Done. I am now the guildmaster of [TheGentlemen], short for The Gentlemen's Trading Association. As soon as I figure out how to add members I'll do that.

No, you most certainly will not. In SuicideGrl's Outrage Column you said, about picking on low level player "I wil and im not just saying that because im his bro if it can be done why not?"

Did you even read the guild rules I posted? About behaving nicely and helping others? In what way is picking on low-level players helping them? It's players like you that unfortunately makes guilds like this necessary.

Nope, I don't think so. I've read everything in the help file, but that didn't do much. I open up the community window and press "invite", thinking that I could type in a name, but nothing happens. Weird.

Perhaps the invite must be done in the same manor that a party invite is made. My IGN is Athene if you want to meet up and figure it out.

I'm on the Athens server and would love to join. I am a level 26 canadian with no job started yet.I am really not sure of the direction this game is taking to decide on a guild.One thing i have noticed is that you better be closer to level 30 if you want to be a hunter or helpout on a run.
I totally respect the type of guild you are forming ,because frankly i have seen nothing but rude players in the game.I can only guess by the names they have that the majority of rude players are either asian or most likely very young punks.KS is brutal in the game.I'm not talking close calls ,i'm talking blatant KS that you have been engaged in and wasting several potions,then a higher level with enraged on comes in and steals.I have always been helping out guild runs when i see them attacked ,but even at level 26 there is some red thiefs that can kill you with there ice/damage/freeze.[usually the bowman].[ice/freeze is overpowered in game needs to be nerfed]
If the game is still around in beta/free by say march20,i'll join if you wish as a hunter of course i always hate the thiefs.I say mar20 because i should be level 30 by then.

Glad to hear you interested in joining the guild. We still have some spaces left to be filled and I'm sure we can accomodate both of you into the guild as and when you both feel ready to join. My IGN is Kard so you can look me up when you're online. I will keep a lookout for you both as well. I'm trying to get in touch with OneManArmy1 as well.

I will give a little piece of advice here. Yes it is safer to be in your 30's before you help out during a run or be a hunter. I'm close to 30 and I will probably be hitting 30 sometime before the next weekend. A 1 star trade is generally safe, except for low stooping cheating thieves, but that can always be worked around too.

Just to address what you say canadian_1, let us not judge that it maybe asians. I am asian myself and perhaps it maybe a shame that there are asians who would resort to cheating/botting etc to do whatever they want to do, there are others of any other ethnicity who would do the same. It's not the ethnicity, it is the mentality. It doesn't neccessarily mean that they might be young punks either. I'm not a teenager but that doesn't stop me from \/\/r|7|n9 1337 coz I roxxor N I kan pwn uR @$$ (that reads as: writing leet cos I rock and I can kick your butt). Any of us can be act like kids if we want to be.

I think, most of us here, are legitimate players who wish to keep the game fair and clean for everyone else and making gaming as fun as possible. But like what others have said... for every good guy, there will always be 10 or 100 jerks out there.

Take a stand, and put justice into action cause the power is yours!

My Fiance and I just started the game. We are both under level 20 at the moment. In real life we are age 20+. I am browsing guilds at the moment, this looks like a nice one.

We haven't, and I don't plan on doing it either - but I'm not against it, so if you want to, that's fine with me.
