EDIT: a couple days ago i played against a team consisting of: mundo, garen, morde, chogath, and a fed karthus
omg his ground ball thing did like 1/4 hp dmg to me so in the last teamfight before we won i snuck up behind him from bush with anivia... popped ult then ice pick then my ice block then icepick again... ACE! then i got killed cuz they other 4tanks came rushing at me... good thing i went kinder surprise on their asses then my team rescued me and we won

Nocturne isn't OP. If you think Nocturne is OP I guess you never heard of TF.

He does nearly everything Nocturne does better. However, TF can't jungle as good as Nocturne and Nocturne scales into late game better.

Most people call Nocturne OP because of his ganks and if we're just talking ganks then yea, TF is better.

I used to main TF before his huge nerf/rework way back. He's just too weak now comparing to many other ranged DPS.

What makes you think TF is better?
IMO.. TF is a weak laner comparing to most solo champs, his damage is a lot less, and he can't chase/run as well (Noc just jungles so meh, can't compare). Besides his global ult ganks and bds, he can't do much. In a team fight, he dies too easily to pick off a squishy and his ult takes time to get to somewhere... If he's hitting one of the more tanky people and standing back, he can just easily get dived as he lacks a reliable slow/stun or getaway ability. As for Noc he can reliably close onto a squishy, and have W+E to help him survive while picking off someone. Oh and he just does more damage overall comparing to TF.

Noc is already overpowered. Q does too much damage, W is quite helpful with ganks or small battles. E is a decent disable with a fast carry. And ult is just too good overall (though they should show the range of the ability when it isn't activated. Oh yeah, and his jungling is just really good also. Just all the abilities together make him too strong of a ganker

noc isnt OP... Q is a SKILLSHOT... in order to do dmg you have to hit the enemy champ directly, W lasts like 2 seconds so if they dont hit you then ur fcked, E lasts 3 seconds to get feard so by then u know theyre kissing turret, his ults range is only from like dragon to mid its not like you can jump lane from lane

You miss Q at close/point blank range, you're bad.
You don't die after W ends unless you do a stupid 3v1 or something. And in a team fight, if they dive for you, your team should be able to follow up to do plenty while you die (and if you don't build tanky against a decent team, you're bad).
E is 2 seconds, and you don't gank when they're close to their tower.
You can avoid a lot of wards with ult and gank. They don't even have to be pushed in at a tower to gank. You can close the distance of someone whenever you're at a reasonable distance... which a lot of melee champions lack a lot. Oh and you're hardly in lane also.

With TF there is no need to chase. A good TF only ports to a person he knows he can kill with relative ease. Prep gold card, ult, profit. Unlike Nocturne, you can't hide. Since TF ult reveals everyone you're more likely to get a kill with TF ult than Nocturne ult.

2 secs isn't a lot of time when you can literally port anywhere.

Nocturne is also squishy. That spell shield isn't going to stop anyone who seriously wants you dead. I agree that overall Nocturne is better for team fights but Nocturne and TF are assassin champs. By the time the team fight phase of the game starts assassin champs should be fed already with TF and Nocturne being 2 of the easiest champs to get fed with. Not to mention TF has the added benefit of being ranged and not having to get into melee range like Nocturne does. Using your ult to go for a squishy as Nocturne in a team fight is basically a global taunt telling everyone on the enemy team to target you. A good team will take out Nocturne before he can do much of anything if he chooses to use his ult in a team fight.

Nocturne is better suited for team fights while TF is better suited for bding. My point was that when people cry Nocturne is OP, they only mention his ganks. And if we're talking pure ganks, TF ganks are just as good if not better.

I still feel like Nocturne is a great char to play, and that he isnt very op at all, but because the general feeling of some of the LoL user-base is that he is, Riot might hit him with a nerf at any time.

Lee Sin, i still have yet to play a single game where he was a threat, either from our side or against us. It could be that people are still just learning his mechanics, but i don't know. Haven't been impressed yet.

So in this case, Karthus is the better choice.

see the good part with kart, you don't have to be in close combat to get a kill, or two, even if in base, and some1 from bot top escapes with litlle hp, you can get the kill, which means gold---> items--->ap.etc.

Karthus is definitely a good buy. Once you get good at hitting with his Q, you can be a beast in lane and farm really good. And his ultimate is just plain badass. Who wouldn't want a global ult that, with enough AP and mag pen..can take out half or more of an opponent's health late game. The only thing that really shuts a fed Karthus down is Banshee's. With that spell block you can deny his ult.

Yea, in the games I've played he's proved not to be much of a threat. Even a game I played last night my teammates at bottom lane fed a Lee Sin until he was 8-0. Then we started fighting at mid 1vs1 and I dropped him so fast, and I was only like 2-1. I just want Brand to come out, just his sneak peek picture looks promising

Personnaly, I love Kennen, he is my favorite champ by far. I just find his skills to be so unique and fun to play. Too bad the Zhonya's change kinda nerfed him a bit, but o well he's still fun. Not the best fit for everyone though as you have to land his q to be effective.

Anivia is probably the most op champ on that list, the recent nerf to her ult is hardley noticable. Next I would say is Malzahar. Malz's ult when cast in the pool is pretty much a guanteed 100% kill. Vlad is a very good champ but I would get one of the other ones before him. Karthus can almost 1v5 if well fed with his aeo damage skill and his global ult. The ult is easily countered with Banshees Veil though. Karthus can be a dominate laner too if you learn to land his q. Karthus's running teleport revive summoners can be a pain in the ass, they die in fight, still do damage because of his passive, then revive and teleport right back into the fight, it's like you're playing a 5v6.

Of those five I would recommend Anivia. Her q when u land as a stun, her wall, her ult aoe slow, and that damn ice pick (I've been killed many a times with that ice pick) is all op when used well together.

Oh, they all cost 6300 IP too.

I'll probably get Anivia then, I planned on getting her all along (I played her first when I started LoL couple months ago, since she was f2p). Followed by Kennen, then Vlad.

Honestly man, I think you would have more fun with Vlad or Malzahar. Malzahar takes a little bit of practice to get them in the E and then ult and also his Q, but he is fun as hell once you know what your doing. And Vlad is just plain fun...you can tower dive like no other with his W and flash, and he's just a beast laner with his Q having no cost and whatnot. All of those champs are great and definitely worth the IP/RP, but I think Vlad and Malz are the most worth while and fun. That's just my opinion anyways.
