TAURUS Guild is a non-thiefing, lvl 5 guild, playing on the Babel server.

A basic Guild homepage can be found here: http://taurus.clan.pro/ Its an easy adress to remember A basic forum is also put up, mainly meant to be used by guild members.

Member reqs are lvl 20 and age 15. We put great effort in getting merely mature, and fun-to-be-with people. Usualy the ones that is signed in as new recruits participates in the guild for a week or two in order to try the guild out and vice versa. After that one is either asked to leave or asked to stay.

Looking forward to see some new guild members. =)

I am very happy thus far. Sorry about last night, I wasn't overly chatty as I had a splitting head ache! You had to leave so quickly as well. I am sure weekend play will easier for us to hook up and share stories.

Still hard coring to the bone at LVL 50 last night and GreyFang (my wolf) hit lvl 22 I think!

I feel the same Kuang. Our two guilds has several point of reference in mutual. I am sure our union will work out all fine and dandy.

I c that your from the Netherlands. You should probably feel comfortable in TAURUS as our so called General is from there to aswell as several of our allies

Try the following IGNs Erlic, LadyKia, Nounca, they are the IGNs most online in your timezone I think.

Secondly you might wanna try to just PM me, Erlic n establish a first coontact that way. IIRC we got 3 spots open atm and are just roughly 10% from lvling to lvl 5

Pasting some F.A.Q. from our own forum in order to aid potential recruits with there questions...


What is TAURUS all about? - TAURUS goal is to develop a non-thiefing guild, focusing on the hunter and trader aspects of the game aswell as to contribute to an exciting and fun gaming experience.

How much does it cost to become a member? - 250.000 in gold. Often there is no rush though, but its important that everyone contributes some in order to allow the guild to grow.

So what do I get as a member? The oppertunity to meet and chatt with fellow gamers and participate in the struggle for a common goal. Borrow items from the guild warehouse. Participate in guild and union gatherings.

How do I get guild positions/ranks (Captain, Chief, General)? - Positions within the guild are designated by a Master and are based upon the judgement of a Master. For Chief status one often have been a Captain first. For General status one often has been a Chief first. Positions/ranks are not eternal but can be withdrawn.

What does a Captain do? - A Captain is recruiting people and can also collect members contributions in gold in order to pass it on.

What does a Chief do? - Depends on what kind of Chief position it is. Can recruit people and collect contributions. Often has some form of Moderator status on the Forum and are supposed to tend to some aspect of the guild.

What does a General do? - Basicly has all Master powers except for the power to dismiss people from the guild or edit in some crucial parts of the forum.

Will guild ranks show ingame? - Not necissarily, but if the designated player wants to. It is then written in CAPITALS.

How do I get union chatt authority? - The game allows 6 members of a guild to use union chatt so the union chatt authority is given to the top 6 contributors of gold to the guild as a thanks for there high contribution. Would any top contributor be somewhat less active, that authority can be temporarily dismissed in favour for the next, more active, guy/gal in line.

Once member, what are the reasons i might get dismissed from the guild for? - People have in the past been dismissed due to bad attitude towards fellow gamers, thiefing and inactivity.

Will I get my contributions in gold to the guild back if dismissed or leaving myself? - No its a contribution not a deposit.

I temporarily left the guild. Do I need to contribute that 250.000 in gold again? - No.

I left the guild awhile ago, may I join again? - Probably.

May I have more then one character in the guild? - No, it is though possible to have a secondary character in another guild section. We do not strive to get 50 characters in the guild, but to have 50 fun people to play the game with.

No hablo inglés ¿Puedo ensamblar? - Well english isnt the native language for a majority of the existing members, but you do need to have some understanding of it in order to enjoy, participate and get the most out of the guild membership.

10 k plzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!! - Earning ones gold as leveling ones character up is up to eichone. No other will play the game for you. The guild is a plattform to meet similiar minded gamers and help eichother out in some aspects. Not to boost newbie characters.

Can I say what ever I want in the guild/union chatt? - No, we do not want racist, political flamings or other similar non-wanted chattings on them.

But it was just a joke? - When someone state it isnt funny anymore it isnt.

I got dissmissed, why? - Unless its due to inactivity I try to speak in person, or atleast send a PM, as for the reasons.

How do you keep track on activity? - Via the GP contribution list on a monthly basis.

How do I borrow items from guild warehouse? - It is described here!

How do I donate/lend things to the guild warehouse? - Same as above. It is described here!

What kind of guilds might join the union? - Similiar minded, i.o.w., none thiefing ones.

Do every TAURUS member have a vote in TAURUS guild decisions? - No, the ultimate decision making is up to the Master(s) to do. Opinions in a friendly manor is always welcome and is considered. Advice for decisions is though often taken from different members and some issues are also published in the Forum for general discussion.

I will be 15 years old next month can I still join? - You probably can. We are not birthday-fascists... The 15 years old policy is an attempt to strive for a more mature player community.

Im not yet lvl 20, can I still join? - You might, pending on the situation. Often restarted characters from members are allowed to join at an earlier stage. The reason for the level reccuirement is to not create extra work for us who recruit as the "quiting-the-game-frequency" is much higher then and as we want our potential members to atleast had a chanse to try out the different job aspects of the game to ensure they want to be hunters or traders.

Do you hate player thiefs? - No, they are fun opponents. I myself even has ingame friends who act as thiefs. I personaly dissagree with joymax policy of allowing "poppers", but as it is now that is how the game is played.

What is the purpose of the Player Thief Heads thread? - To gather as many confirmed player thief kills as possible. The goal is 1000. A little challange we all may pursue...
