VERY IMPORTANT - REGARDING RECENT HACKS/SCAMMS ON BABEL SERV

lol there are new tipe of scammers/hackers on babel server and whole guild is in that scamm..

Name of guild is "DarkWolF_Fr" and main char for that scamm is their

GM with IGN "AdS_FR".

so here are some screen shots of that..

basicly they are yeling the link for "free bot" which is just a page with log in (PW and ID) for your SRO acc.. you log in but it says error or something and you never recieve free bot but in stead get hacked..

(i am told that they even wait and monitor your progres for a day or two then when you are stalling and afk they use DC bug with thief scroll, log on to your acc clean it and even clean guild storage, make your PK as high as posibble, withdraw people from your guild or if they get GM they destroy whole guild -- so please be carefull people)

that first SS was taken by me (and that dude yeling the link is allso hacked char. they use their main chars only for taking the goods from someones acc)... and other 2 SS are from my union friend.. please all be carefull.

yes that is true, but there are some people that just want to know what bot is and got hacked in that way.. one guy asked me even what a keyloger is for.. :banghead:

So I dont know, yes if they bot or wanna bot they deserve it..but maybe in this way I can show to people that 90% of bots are hacks and keyloggers so maybe people will finaly stop boting..

and another thing, this guy that got hacked is in our union now for 2 weeks and he was on that botter page 1 month ago and dint changed his PW :banghead:

So they waited him for a month to scamm.. people change your PW on weeklybases, dont bot, dont give your ID, PW or e-mail to anyone, eat your vegetables and be good..

90%are keyloggers or hacks? 369 and 258 arent hacks or keyloggers, they are actuall bots, and while JM doesnt press legal action against these companies there will always be botters. And by the way, joymax makes most of its money *indirectly* from bot users. Think about it. A botter, who can afford a bot can also afford silk for GT and silk items. After all, you pay 7.50 for 1card and another 15 for silk, Joymax and the bot companies both make money, And lets admit it, joymax doesnt care about sro, they care about the money more than its users.....

yeah i agree with you 100%..

But he wanted to bot before he got in the union like a said.. and people dont realize there is no such thing as free bot.
If you want to bot you have to pay for it, like for silk.
But still there is people (like this guy 13 years old) that dont know this thing, so they get screwd.
But i think if you want to bot go to official page (and joymax has proffit 100% of that), so you dont get hacked/scammed.
But like i said I am and i will be against botting allways.

Yeah. I know im hypocritical especially since Im a PM at 0x33. Still, he deserves it. Like you said, nothing is free.....Plus bein ga PM of 0x33 gets you a free sro bot account :roll:

RV, is this the type of people you have in your guild? _Hunters_ were supposed to be legit right? Kick that girl/guy from you guild, they deserve it.

Unless you want Hunters to be labeled as a Bot guild, because. Remember one player can label a guild.

If he was just to visit the site, then so be it. But from what we are told, one must actually register for the bot by inserting their ID and PW. thus showing an understanding of what s/he is doing, and a wanting allong with a willingness to BOT.

So no, i do not accuse people of botting if they are to visit a bot site, i do accuse people of botting, if there is significant evidence to prove that they either did bot, or that they wanted and tried to.

Now, there is enough evidence in the first post alone to justify my accusations, so please do not think i dont pay attention to what i say, i think about it and the way things line up, s/he did visit the bot site, but it was not out of curiosity

yes you are right and FuryAngle is right this time.. Those who bots deserve to get scammed because they are doing what is ilegal.

But i dont know why he was on bot site, he wasnt in the union at that time, and we dont have botters in union, so now he learned a leasson and he is starting from the begining.

I dont have simphaty for botters, scammers, hackers or realy credulous people..

I made this thread just to warn people and maybe to show them that if they bott there is a chance to get f... in the end.

notice that i say "scam" and not "hack". i wouldn't call it "Hacking" because he actually typed in his login details on that site. However, i am sure that he has learned his lesson XD
Yes, most of us want to bot when we first hear of a bot, most of us are curious to find out how it works, even if we don't really want to bot. i won't deny it, i even wanted to take a closer look of the bot myself and to see how the hell can the computer play for you while you are AFK - luckily for me, i understood the danger of the matter, and gave up.

However, KeyJ - i do not see how the GUILD issues has anything to do with it! _Hunters_ is a bot-free guild, and by the looks of it, it never WAS related to any bots because:
A. Although he was browsing a bot site, he never got the chance to bot, did he?
B. That guy, registered the bot site 2 weeks BEFORE he joined our guild, we did not ask about his past, therefore, i do not see any connection between his botting "attempts" and our guild.
C. while being in the guild, he never tried to bot or showed any relation to even WANTING to bot.

BUT
although he gave his details away, there was something wierd about the... WAY... they went into his account... by what he said, he was stalling and there was this guy from a thief guild in Babel, who stood in his stall for 20 minutes... and got him disconnected (we all know how to do that, and if you don't know how to, i am not going to tell you, because its immoral. i use it only to get people disconnected if they stall INSIDE the potion NPC on a fire ox so im doing the whole server a favor by doing that lol)
and THEN - FEW MINUTES LATER - he came on team-speak, and said "RV, am i online?" - of course, i said "yes?..." and then he told me that it is not really him. alright then -
SOMEONE logged on his account... the question IS - is that thief or thief guild related to the bot site?... or are they separated from that site? did that thief enter his account in a way non-related to the bot site? did someone else from that thief guild log on his account in a way that IS related to the bot site? did someone from the bot site log on his account in a way NON-related to the thief guild and by a total coincidence right after that thief from that guild got him disconnected?...

find it all on the next episode of "Trying to bot and being punished for it" :shock:

As i said before this tread was made to warn people of this scamm and to ask them in a way not to use bots in game.
It wasnt ment for flames, insults or incrimination of people or guilds (yes i have put SS with names and everything - but i think editing is ruining the kredibility).

I think it is related because there are 3 web pages that look the same, (but i cant find others now will try later) so i am thinking maybe it is like the paypal fraud few months ago when they made the same page as paypal but were using it to steal people credit card numbers. i dont know.

But the thing is that i want for people to realize that they can have problems for botting (loosing of money, personal info, acc's and respect of legit players - that is the aim of this tread)..

You said he logged onto the site 2weeks before he joined the union/guild. Do you know what happened within those 2weeks? I have had friends, good friends, who calimed they hate botters. Only to find out 3days ago they botted from 2x to 7x, and i never cought on because they babysat it while they did their homework and so forth. Its easier to fool joymax then it is your guild.

You never know, Like I said if he babysits it can take you a while to get to 80, Babysittig is Bottng for 5hours perday or around that number and not leaving the bot on 24/7. Either way, there is NO way to know if somebody is babysitting, sine if they are they are allways there to respond to questions or PK or anything else.

Im glad he was hacked, And I dont bot in the same manner the rest of SRO does. And I dont claim I deserver to have all these level 80's But in the end I do still have them. And I have been hacked multiple times, but I have also paid those people a visit in more ways then one.

why are we not "legit"? because ONE MEMBER of ours entered a bot site 2 weeks before he joined our guild, and we didn't know about it, and he never got the chance to bot?
i repeat again because obviously you didn't read my post, FuryAngel - _Hunters_ is and always WAS a legit guild...
