You can run a minion on heal, bone minion utility (which gives you 3), Bone fiend, and Shadow fiend, and a Bone Golem. Giving you a fairly large minion army.

They've said (according to what I read on Guru) that there's no way to increase your chances to get in in any ways. They deny that's its a "family & friends" beta but it seems like it to me...

If anything, being subbed to the Newsletter is the best way to go about it.

We recently finished our first closed beta test, and we’re now ready to hold progressively larger events. In February we’ll invite select press to participate in beta testing, and in March and April we’ll aggressively ramp up the size of our beta test events so that many of you will have a chance to participate. And of course, this all leads to the release of Guild Wars 2 later this year.

If they have an open beta, I will not participate. Last game I tried the beta, put me off. Then I tried the full version and loved it. I'd rather enjoy the full retail release first. That's just me though.

PvP armor sets
A little late, an I guess anyone who follows GW2 already seen them. But is it just me who is fairly dissapointed in the looks? Such an amazing art team and that's what they come up with? :/

But that's just the default PvP armors, you can still use your awesome looking armor you've acquired during PvE.

P.S: Gaming Newspress started receiving their beta invites. Our turn next month.
