Search has failed me

A while back someone posted a site which had a buttload of pictures and stuff for all your desktop background needs, cant remember who it was that posted it either.
if anyone can remember the thread, thats a good first step. the next one would be finding it for me. thanks ^_^

Thats the thing, I tried a normal 1280x800 resolution , but the image came out to pixel like. I tried smaller, same problem.
