You americans (well im guessing your americans) must get damn cheap insurance. Getting insured on a 4x4 in england im sure would be pretty much impossible as a first car.

This isn't the actual picture of my car. This is one of the internet.
Honda Civic. Mine also had kits, tint, black in colour, rims, and chrome tail lights. I loved it.
Edit: No longer have it either. I've got a new car. Nissan Skyline R33 - 25k AU$

No, you can't. German cars are infamous for breaking down in bits and pieces.
For a first car, Jettas are really good. Just hope you got one in good condition, seems pretty good from the outside.
First Car
turned into this..

So I got this!

BMW: The reason why they have a good warranty is because everything breaks down, everything.
Mercedes: Mercedes' reputation took a plummet starting in '93 because they cut their research and development funding to make more money, just recently they started to fund for that again.
Porsche: Go find me a good working porsche older than 15 years... you can't because all of them are broken down or barely work.
Audi: Stupidest transmissions in the world, like freaken glass. Replaced all too often.
Just RECENTLY have all these companies stepped up their game.

Pontiac sucks, except for recently as well. You see much more old Fords and Chevys still on the road with vast numbers of miles on them, and still running strong.

so what? GM and ford are doing terrible right now. While japan was making prius, we were too busy trying to make commercial hummers that have 5 mpg. its pathetic

Japan is a whole different story. Japanese cars are the most reliable machines ever to be produced.
But little known fact, Prius' in the long run hurt the world due to batteries they use, they don't know how to dispose of them or something about getting the material is unsafe and limited.

I won't say its "my car"
But, my uncle gave my bro a red rx-7, the 1994 version i believe, you know, the white one, from initial-D.
I'm sure i would inherit that red car, that is stick shift.
Since, my bro is chillin in his mercedez compressor, the 220 one i believe, mom's friend, who also close with us, gave it to him.
Looks, nice inside the compressor, have navigation, sunroof, auto lock doors, all these air bags and snack. Just the butt part is freaking ugly.
I just really wished the rx-7, red one, is the newer RX-7, not RX-8 people, the newer RX-7, like that yellow one from initial-D
OH, and damn, your Jetta looks HAWT!
EDit: NO NONO, lol, i messed up, its not the 1994 version, I WANT the 1994 version, searched the internetz, and saw that its not.
What we have is the "FC", and i really want the "FD" version lol
