Little perfume problem

So today I got a present from a good friend of mine: he bought me a perfume.

Only one little problem, the perfume is a women's perfume, but he didn't know. He says it smells like a men's perfume.

Since it's a gift and it costed like 100 euro's, I didn't say anything and just accepted the gift.

So what to do now lol? :P

It's Chanel Chance btw.

Give it to someone for Christmas or save for someone's birthdays LOL
Well that's what I would do.

Your friend bought you (male) perfume... Odd gift.

If its unopened try to get a refund or sell it on ebay, Or give it to a lady friend.

+1. It's so hard to find a birthday present for male friends. All of my friends and I have an agreement that we bring you out and buy you a case of beer. Makes things easier.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrosexual

Metrosexual is a neologism generally applied to heterosexual men with a strong concern for their appearance, or whose lifestyles display attributes stereotypically seen among gay men. The term is closely related to dandy. Debate surrounds the term's use as a theoretical signifier of gender deconstruction and its associations with consumerism. The word was coined as a tongue-in-cheek play on "homosexual".

so wear it, its not a bad thing

Just use it, but spray very little on you. First, blokes will not gonna come up to you and say, "Say, is that Channel?"

Or like I do, keep it in the toilet and spray it after you had a shit. Or in your car after a smoke.

Problem solved :D

Maybe you strike him as a guy who would wear female perfumes.

1st: he doesn't think I wear female perfume, he just thought it was a male perfume, and to be honest, he's a bit right cuz it doesn't really smell like a female perfume.

2nd: here in Holland it's NOT weird to give someone perfume as a gift.

Try using it once and see if someone compliments you on it, then that means they probably didn't think or notice that it's a feminine perfume. If they say, "is that a woman's perfume?" then you're screwed. Otherwise, save it for another occasion and give it to a female friend, girlfriend, or family member.

1. You can always return it, if you never opened it and/(maybe)or have a receipt that comes with it.

2. You can try to give it away as a present for another person, preferably female, as a present for whatever the reason they are celebrating for.

(Oh, its cool to give it away as a present to someone else, because your friend already realizes that he bought you a female perfume)

Theres a few thing.

1. If you like it, wear it. Simple. Who cares what the label says?

2. If you dont like it, wrap it up and give it to your gf or mother for christmas, its coming up soon.

3. Give it to a random person on the street, kindness is nice :)

I give strangers stuff all the time, its quite enjoyable actually. Money, food, little trinkets, fairy floss.. whatever i have available. Some people tend to freak out, others have awesome conversations with me. Its a great way to pass time :]
