Ok so there is this girl that i like and her best friend who is my friend aswell told me that she likes me but she is waiting on me to make the move.

I thought about what to say to her and every sentence i think of seems so childish what should i say to her?

So if you liked a girl and wanted to go out what would you say to her?

the 'would you like to go out with me' sounds kinda childish and like iam back in highschool.

honestly asking a girl if she wants go out some time is the only line i heard its not cheesy so do it have fun in your date

You're overthinking it. That, not the line, makes you seem childish. Just go up to her and ask her out.

I'd love to see the guys saying 'its easy', 'omg your never gonna get a girl'. Sure the dude made a bad decision upon deciding to ask srf for relationship advice, but everyone has been there, and been nervous.

As someone said. Don't sit there, thinking about what your gonna say because if you do, you'll sit there ALL night tryna find something perfect and you won't find it. It will also make you incredibly 'more' nervous if and when you actually choose to do it. Just spit it out, as long as you include the words 'do you want to go out with me' in there somewhere you'll be fine.

They're good friends. I guess that's why it's so difficult. When it's just some random girl it's easy, but when it's someone you've known for a long time you get uncomfortable.

I knew my current girlfriend for...a long time time. Before we got together. Nothing 'unconformable' about it.

Not the "oh shit" uncomfortable; more of the "what if I mess up a good friendship" uncomfortable. Meh; maybe it's just me.

OnT: The only advice for this is: Don't think about it; Just do it.
