Whats the highest tone you can hear?

No.
"Kids", or undeveloped adults if you prefer, have a much easier time hearing high frequency sounds, add to that the fact that they haven't had their ears destroyed by working on construction sites or things like that.
Students abused this and used ringtones that teachers wouldn't be able to hear - someone posted the full story months ago. If I remember right, they got the sound from a restaurant owner that was using the sound to deter young kids from loitering.

When I first posted 17 it was because I started hearing it a bit after he said 17, but on those I can't hear it. I think having my ipod on max volume for hours a day on the bus from elementary to high school graduation ruined my ears.

I use to work in kennels after leaving college, working in a small space with about 10-20 dogs barking all at once kinda messed up my hearing a little.

mine starts about 19k
how do you guys hear 22k when it says that 23k is supposed to be inaudible

Dont think it helps to be deaf in 1 ear. So i started hear at 15 with normal sound level. Raised a bit and i heard at 17. Never tried full sound.
