How long have you been using a PC/ Internet?

I have been using the PC/ Internet since Starcraft was released.

Pc: '98'ish
Internet: '99

'05. I had a life before then =3.

PC was probably about same time as internet, so '05.

i got a computer in 2000, didnt know how to use it till 2002, started going on the internet on 2005

I don't remember when I started using a computer. I remember the first time I had internet in my own house though, I was using a 28kb/s dialup service.

Since i was 12ish. I'm 18 now...

PC: back in year 4. I would of been 9, so nearly 10 years ago.

Internet: 3 years now i think.

i started when i was 7 years old...back in 1996...at an 'internet cafe'. had to pay a lot to use it >.>

around 1998 or so

I've had a PC/Internet since 92'.

But I really didn't start using either till 97ish.

since 5years ago when i was bout 13

our first computer had windows 98 on it respectively, Pentium 2 and i had dial-up.

I was playing floppy games back in what, '96 or something, always at a friends house.

First time on the internet was probably in the last class on primary school where we got internet in '98, '99 or so?

First pc at home was a pentium '1' in 2000 or 2001, then months later a pentium 2, got internet then too, a year after that a P3 and in 2005 or something I bought a customized pc that could play the 'latest games'.

i remember that annoying dialup... cant make calls D:

when i was 5, 1996 when i was in kindergarten. i played total annihilation and red alert a lot. I remember my dad got like the hottest computer out there att it ran windows 95 with a 333 mghz processor with like 16 mb or ram or something and it cost him $1,200 haha.

i started using the internet tho around 2000ish then i started playing call of duty online a lot.

The pc I have now is the second one i've ever had, only got it about a year ago. My first one I got around 2002 I think.

My first "PC" ran on CP/M (before DOS) and didn't have a hard drive, it had two 5 1/4" floppy disk drives - one disk would be labeled "Program" and the other "Data". To load some programs (like the POWERFUL word processors) I had to swap out program disks too.

Prior to that were my Commodore and Atari boxes - but they weren't considered "personal computers" in any real sense.

When i was about 10-11, my dad introduced me to all this shit.

idk how long i've been using the pc now. first game i remember i
ever played is kings quest (by sierra). plus pong and all kinds
of snake variations. i dont even know if our first pc had a HDD,
i think we started up everything through floppy. oh and good old
ms-dos. i even took a course in that <_<

and internet, well we started using it when the best we could get
was a dialup connection. we were using napster for downloads at
that time. i think every song we downloaded took at least 15 minuts.
and my parents always got pissed because the phone line was dead
at least 4 hours every day because we were downloading >_>

I remember having internet but I never used it because I had no real use for it. Had that Maybe 97? It was on windows 95 anyway. PROPERLY started using in in around '01.
As for PC I've been played DOS/Floppy games for as long as I can remember. And when my dad got his first computer with a cd tray I stuck a cookie in it. But probably around 94?

Using a PC on a very young age, and my uncle is to blame. He always got me videogames I could play on my parent's computer. Maybe since 5? I was completely hooked to this game called Fattybear. Oh I loved that game so much even though I had no clue what the characters said as it was English.

I got internet on my own computer since 2003/2004? Not really sure. First game I played online was James Bond 007: Nightfire and it was all so new to me lol. I had been using internet on my parent's computer before, though. I remember my parents peeking over my shoulder when I went to the chatbox for the first time haha, my mother was so scared.

Had my first PC in 92 or 93. First got the internet somewhere around 1999/2000.

2000ish - computer
2002ish - internetz.

bout 4 years. 2-3 of the years where waisted on sro. when i was 8 i didnt even know what a computer was. When i was like 9 or 10 my mom bought me and myvbro a shit 98 and we played a few cheesey games on it. Then wen i was 11 we got the newest dell. Its still pritty fast and we get new stuff for it often.

PC = 1998ish..I used to play the 1st AOE when it came out when I was 6ish...untill I turned our moniter purple

Internet = 2002 probably

Two parts.

1. PC - 1980 or 1981
2. Internet - since before it was called "The Internet" and was Darpanet.

And Gramps - Kaypro II for the win! Remember that "luggable"? CP/M on that one too.

Love the specs on that 6809, eh? .9 mhz. Yes, that's MEGAhertz, not ghz. 1/3000th as fast as today's PC's.
