I've been trying this experiment for about 8 weeks now (2 months) and over that time i've been drinking a can of coke every friday night. Now heres the catch, Every day on Saturday about midday, I get idigestion/Diahorrea.
I'm just wondering whats causing this, Is coke having some effect on my bowls? Or is it the gas from the coke?

Does anyone else get this?

How big is your CAN? A gallon?

Only thing i know is that coke desinfects your mouth(up to 40%) and can damage your teeth

385ml can of coke.

Diet coke and coke zero contain an additive called 951 this can give you brain cancer and leukemia

Wells lets think this through...you have a coke every Friday night. Everytime you drink it you get idigestion/Diahorrea the next day. You've been doing this for 2 months and so my only question to you is....Why are you still drinking coke when you know it'll give you idigestion/Diahorrea the next day?!?

Caffeine might be the culprit here.

Everything gives you cancer these days.
Even having sex with your girlfriend gives you cancer in some strange way.

the reactions you get from coke are different than in other people/systems.
I drink coke often, and i get absolutely nothing like that, it actually makes me feel good

A gaming forum is not somewhere you seek medical advice. What if I told him it was related to the soda he was drinking but he had a severe bowel problem and failed to seek help. Again, this is not the place to seek advice, opinions or help on such problems.

I don't think it would cause a problem, my father drinks it all the time and that is the only thing he drinks.

I think its just how your body is accepting it maybe, I stopped drinking koolaid a few months ago and now I drink pop constantly. There where no negative effects that I can see currently.

The story about the Rusty nail and the glas of Coke come to mind. Like any form of proper corrosion it takes it's toll after a decent amount of time has passed.

I ditched Coke for Coffee,maybe next time i can 'trick' my body into accepting Tea.

Well I drink lot of coke and havent seen any effect on my condition.

i always cry cause of gas in coke,thats why i open it like 20-30min before i know i will drink it cause it also make me burp a lot ...more than beer

Isn't coke a laxative thats what some one told my mum -.- and if you don't know what a laxative is well then i pitty you

coke and pepsi leave in nasty brown phlegm in my throat when i drink it, i took that as a bad sign and stopped drinking them...
