So the third Eragon book finally came out just a couple days ago, and I got my copy today. Its been awhile since I have read the past two books, so Im going to do some reviews of Eragon and Eldest, but I can't wait to see if the trilogy ends well. Is anybody reading, or read the book yet? Good, bad, inbetween? I dont want anything to ruin the book, since I haven't started yet please :)

I've started, about half way through right now. I'd say it is about on par with the other 2 books. Remember though, there's gonna be a fourth book, Paolini said that the book would have been too big to make it all in one last one. I think the problem would be solved if he didn't use such large text in the book though. >.<

Reread the first to wait for the second. Reread the second to wait for the third, but that was ages ago. I don't feel like refreshing myself, but I'll probably end up doing so after I get my hands on Brisingr. The only problem is that I won't be able to read it until Thanksgiving break, or Winter break. Too busy. -.-

One note: I've always thought the third book would be called Empire - starts with an E and has six letters. Oh well.

Yes, it is the same, except the movie is trash, whoever made the movie should have been dragged and shot.

The movie is bad.

The books are nice.

BTW didn't Paolini stated ages ago on his website that there will be 4 books in total?

The books are ok, its like an alternave to the Harry Potter series, both draw alot from LOTR, when I was reading the first to book got kinda boring, cause it kinda use like all the cliches that goes along with "The Heros Jounrey." Its like a Starwars plot with LOTR elements. I would recommend it for anyone who hasn't read LOTR and wants something that can offer a little taste of it, or hasn't watch all the Starwars.

Haha, that's when he discovers that dragon riders can use magic. One of the few decent parts of the book that they actually kept in the movie.
