ok so um my psp firm ware is 3.11 i need some help um anything interesting i can do with it can i downgrade am i better off upgrading
i hardly play my psp use it for music but im just curious



also will be nice if i can play downloaded games with 3.11 anyone know if can

Best option for you is Pandora Box, but you have to have another CFW PsP near you. (fat one)

If you have a Psp slim I dont think you can do it without hard modding the battery. I had a slim and brought it back cause it's pretty worthless without a second analog stick.

Just google up how to hard mod your battery so you can do pandora's with it, but make sure you have another battery because it once you hard mod it, dont use it unless you wanna downgrade another psp or unbrick a psp

Or you could buy a pandora's battery from the internet with all the tools you need

I've been in PsP hacking stuff like ... 3 years now... so ofcourse I'll know the best sites for PsP.

You have two ways, one is with Lumines (there is exploit in that game, and you need to buy it original - I dont recommend that at all. 0%!) on 3.50 Firmware if I recall good (You need to upgrade your Firmware to 3.50) , or you can do it with Pandora's Box ...

Ask around in your neighbour if there anyone has Fat (keyword : Fat, it cannot be slim) PsP, and is on Custom Firmware...
Otherway ... I think you can give it to a shop (there are 2-3 guys in Croatia, Zagreb that have game shops, and they Downgrade PsP-s & Upgrade them - I know its Ileggal, but in Croatia, we dont buy original games, well some people do, but stupid people only, Balkan - we copy here!)

Anyway, look around, I highly recommend that Pandora, its piece of cake, I've hacked PsPs (before, when it just came out - it was pain in the ass, I bricked my PsP and was ready to buy new motherboard, then the next day Pandora box came out) all the time, and now, its really really simple to do Pandoras.

All you need is:

• Fat PsP with Custom Firmware
• PsP you want to downgrade (any firmware, I mean any!)
• Memory stick 256mb ++ PRO DUO (Idk is it 256 mb++, I'm sure it can be smaller, but I dont think there is smaller MS-s today to buy.

You will need to "hack" your battery, but that can reversed, and battery will work perfectly normal.
Pandora Box will get you to 3.80M33 as I recall.
And it can repair brick. (it basiclly reflashes your Firmware).

Things you have to do is: Find someone with Fat PsP and CFW.
Buying from Internet Pandora's set is epic fail, every kid can do it nowdays.

is that the best firmware now or should i downgrade/upgrade it?

No, it is not hopeless ... its simple, I told you, find a friend with Fat PsP and Customfirmware, and I'll help you install custom firmware on your PsP...

There is no other way ...
P.S. Fat PsP > Slim in my opinion, looks better, and fits better in hand. + FatPsP is the key to Pandora's battery, it cannot be done without it.

so this 3.9 M33 firmware.... what does it have more than 1.5? because a year ago i was told to keep it at 1.5 and not upgrade. does the M33 has a built in loader?

The simplest way Gaige is with Pandora's set, PsP bricked or not, doesnt matter ...
Other way is with luminess, as I recall, so ... whats your plan?

It has much much more, infact I dont know what 1.5 doesnt have...

well i domt want him to pay, and he probaly has no one around with a cfw to make a pandora but there is a HEN for 3.11, of course u can make a pandora without cfw buu its hard i know

You can downgrade it with pandoras, lumines and GTA:LC.
