It'd probably be impossible for any of us to help you make a thesis statement since I doubt any of us have read the story. But they aren't hard, say something that covers the shit you plan to write about.

English Second Language - Might be a good start seeing that you can't put together a simple thesis.

If you want help with your paper you should write it first; i'm sure more of us would be glad to provide feedback. You can't expect people to do your work for you.
