I'm not talking about the movie by the way, but I just got finished reading the book, and goddamn, it's a great book. Read it all today, it was just amazing

And it has great storyline too, the ending is very sad and it leaves you eager for more, but if it was any other way, it just wouldn't be as good.
Have any of you read this book? I really wish there was like a sequel or something, or some way longer version, lol, it was so good, but too too short.
Also, this is another great story to be added to my week of awesome storylines. V for Vendetta, now I Am Legend (the book, movie sucked ass), what is some other awesome book/movie I can watch which has a similar storyline (a future which is less than perfect)?
Thanks.

i read the first 10 pages i think, but couldnt continue since someone else needed the book, and i would suggest reading "Cirque du freak", its by far the best series, and the twists in it will make you gape. The movie is coming out soon, its still in production

First read all of I Am Legend and tell me if I'd like it still. Btw, I totally recommend reading the book, it takes hardly and time it's 170 pages long.

Can you tell me what it's about without giving anything away please

I checked real quick and see it's about vampires, maybe I'd like it, but I don't want to start reading it until after I'm done thinking about I Am Legend.

:]]

It was probably unabridged, the book is very short, and yeah, I agree with you I like those types of books.
Don't worry

I understand why you might want to listen to an audiobook, I myself can't really do that anymore though, because if I'm listening to a story, it has to be all I'm paying attention to, I have too little of an attention span

does the book explain why the short-colonel (i believe thats his rank) walk around with only a rifle and drive a civilian sports car?
i am just wondering, IF i was him, i would drive an armored vehicle (you know those cars used to get cash out of banks?) and carry sht load of guns

In the book he is just an average joe, he's not a military leader. He doesn't even carry around guns in the book, he carries stakes because they're vampires (but he later learns he can just throw them into the sun), and he drives a willy stationwagon because it's the only car he's familiar with, it also takes places like 40 years ago.

You'd be a pro at that.

He was bitten by an infected bat while stationed in panama, and since that was an earlier form of the bacteria, he got very sick, but developed an immunity to the disease.
