Is sound quality important to you? If not, I know a way of ripping songs directly from the youtube vids.

Yeah, it's called:

cat /dev/dsp > mysound.wav

Then you can use lame or bladeenc http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/LinuxTutorialMP3.html to convert the wav file to an mp3. :wink:
