So yeah, last year it was 2 dollars for the cafeteria lunch

The one with the milk carton and comes in a lil pack or something.

Now its freakin 3 dollars, lol isn't this stupid?

Yeah they sell other things too, but i say they are all rip offs.




Can anyone tell me their costs of school lunches, cuz its kinda weird for every shizzle nutting food they sell now in school cost a lot. e.g. water bottle = 1 dollar -_-

what do you mean school lunches? school sells you pre-made lunch? mine doesn't don't think you can get that anywhere in Canada.

Here, we buy what we like (Wraps, Sandwich, Toasted Sandwich, Sushi, Chips (potato chips), Flavored Milk etc.)

They all range in price, what I usually get is a Chicken, Satay, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, Cheese, and Avocado wrap, costs $4.90, and a Chicken and Avacado sushi $2.50 and a Large 'Big M' ice coffee - $3.

Man, most of them are cheaper than my school


There is this chiken burrito and beef one for 3 bucks, comes with fruit, 3 small strips of carrots and celery.


Then pizza, 2 bucks, taco pocket 1.50 or 2.00

Hamburger 1.50 i believe, chiken burger same thing.

Then some other things like bagels and such i forgot, but still havez more in the menu


Oh, and i believe i forgot to add that, i need to know the original price, rather than the reduced priced meals. Meaning the full price to the school's premade lunch.

*This only applies for the school's premade with milk carton lunch thing.

For instance my school will have cafeteria made stuff, but also outside food.
So you can buy pizza from famous name pizzerias (like dominoes, hah)

For me personally it doesnt matter, i can just drive out to some fast food place during lunch and get something

Oh and, currently for us juniors, we only have off campus rights on thursdays only, we need to buy junior t- shirts first.

There is a lot of places to eat near my school, like a Hawaiian drive in and stuff.

Pretty much no use lol, since i live like 3-4 blocks away

Haha well yeah we have those name brand pizzas, like pizza-hut and all those.
It varies from year to year.

Oh yeah about that off campus privileges, forgot to say its not like they just let us leave.
You kinda just have to sneak off and then sneak back.

Final thought, before i go. Three dollars seems like a lot; however, it does seem like quite a hefty amount of food you get in return. So it could just be fair, and now that i think about it our school lunch is 2.50 so its not that bad. Pretty much the same as yours. Just so you can compare, if i were to buy it i would get the main meal (i.e hamburger, ham sub, etc), a fruit cup or fruit itself, and milk carton or juice.

Either way i think youre better off just buying the outside food. Make your own thing. Like ill get a gatorade, chips, and pizza or whatever else they have. Oh and no i dont think we're rich

When i was in highschool they were 2.00 with no discount... but since i had 4 siblings and my parents only made XX,XXX amount a year it was like 45¢

$4.50 for a fking set lunch.
ex: burger with drink, pizza with drink, asian bowl with drink.
and anywhere from 25 cents to 4 dollars for separate stuff like crispitos, breadsticks.

I don't even get my lunch from the school shop... I just buy two $1 pies from a nearby Darby's =) only 10 minutes walk...

It used to be better, we had lollies, soft drink, junk food in the mass supply.

The Australia bought out this dumb thing to stop childhood obesity.

My school has like a sushi buffet like in the north wing and a cultural custom foods in the south wing.
We have a fast food cafeteria, where we cook our own food. And there are cameras everywhere.
We have to wear our ids on our chest or on a keychain and we got to slide it through the thing at the door so it knows we were in there so if we were to burn down the kitchen, we pay.
High tech complicated stuff.
And we get free lunch for attending the school.

I bought chicken fingers with fries and a Canada Dry for $11 today. Tuesday I got them to grill me a hot dog with bacon and cheese for like $4.

Last year before class a friend and I ordered pizza and wings, we got them to deliver it outside our building and ate in on a bench. That was expensive though.

I don't really know to be honest. I started a new school so I haven't checked out the menu yet. Some of my classmates complain that the food is too expensive, so I'll ask them about it today.
Though, I'm one of the few nerds who still bring a lunchbox. :3

we dont even get school lucnhes we have a cafeteria but yeah, 1.5 euro for one sandwitch is insane ^^ , times 1.5 you get USD, so yeah 2.250 dollar for a sandwich and a can of whatever is 70 euro cents ^^

Even McDonalds in US is so cheap, $1 McChickens! Here they're $3ish, keep in mind they're 3x the size here.

my school sells things in those automatic things with candy, chocolats, cookies, softdrinks, that kinda stuff..

we've got a place where they make a sandwich for you, you can choose what to add, and we've got this lil' restaurant where we can buy things like krokets, tosties, drinks, almost like a little coffeeshop you come across on the streets...

(L) I love my school...

Cuz we've got these schoolings for hosts, bartenders, chefs, and those kinda things, so the pupils make lunch for other pupils and get graded for it..

For my last 4 years of high school. From 9th Grade to 13th. We were allowed off site every day. At our old site we had a Chinese, a burger bar and a snack bar (had AMAZINNGGGG fooood). At our new site, we had a Safeway right next door, a long with a Ledo's and 3 star bucks, a Subway, Whole foods and various other places.

Now that I'm outta school, I get my food at work for 50% off. Trouble is that its already expensive to begin with

Oh yeah, forgot about pricing. I usually spent about 6$ a day, 8$ if I was drinking monster. Now I spend about 2 pounds 50. Which is about 4$ or so.
