Thai leader forced to resign over TV cooking show

[My] Summary: The president of Thailand used to be a host for a cooking show. He became president through a military coup (not in article, background info). His opponents have been asking him to step down for years (the first I head was in late 2005) and he has refused. He is suspected, by the obviously partisan other party, to have the interest of other nations placed above those of Thailand. Of course, there's always the generic corruption charge also. There's some provision that the president can not be dual-employed while serving as president but the president made too many guest appearances on his former cooking show has broken the law. [or something like that, I'm not familiar with Thai law...]
