It's not based on a gut feeling.

The Maya calendar ends in 2012, after which the Mayans, Nostradamus etc all predicted the world would end. The freaky thing about this is, that the same people all predicted certain historic events, like the world wars etc, and they have still been right every single time.

They have got quite some gut feeling.

The world could end at any given moment. And tbh, I don't care when it's going to happen.

Said the same thing about the millennium. 8 years later and i still have my y2k hat >_>

How come we never hear about their failed predictions? Give any homeless guy a tape recorder and tell him to predict things for the next 40 years and you'll find that some of his guesses could be interpreted as coming true.

For the end of the world, it's quite comforting really. Should the world end in such a way, we would skip the death part and immediately jump to the "not existing" status. Seeing that I believe that being dead is like being asleep, I wouldn't be around to QQ about the end of the world, i'd be resting and so would everyone else. It's like being in kindergarden all over again: post-lunchtime naps.

i remember when there was an end of the world in 2000 , what a horrible day
btw as far as i know nosterdamus said it will be in 2000 not 2012... but i could be wrong, anyways i dont really believe it , its all good to predict and say things after they already happened , i mean why didnt world warn us about the war before they actually took place?

Planet X Nibiru, if really exists and approaching, can be a big threat to the earth and its people. Michel de Nostredame predicted some kind of huge space collision that will occur around year 2000. Will the comet or asteroid really fall in the aegean sea (Greece) and huge tsunami will hit the mount Olympus (2917 metres high). If he is right and mayans as well, it looks like the end of the world is really close.

Choose to believe it, but tbh I could not care less.

euhm i might be a retard,, but science tells us materie wont just disappear,, there are several theories blackholes are some sort of teleportation thingy´s to a galaxy ( not sure how to call place where new stars appear)

I know Nostradamus has been right in his predictions but I don't recall reading he stated the year 2012 as the beginning of the endtimes?
If you could state a source that would be nice,
thought he just stated the order in which things would happen to mark the start of the end.
