there is this girl that i have a crush on, it was like love on the first sight kind of thing, she is new, she just transfered to the school and she sits behind me in reading class but iam too shy to talk to her, i just wanna ask her if she wants to go to prom together or even be just friends, and i only have this semister to get to know her cuz after then i dont have any classes with her.

So HALP, how should i approach this problem?

That's not even a problem. I mean if you're shy to talk to her, then just TALK to her. Ask her about her old school, etc.
Try to look for her in the class breaks, sit with her make her feel comfortable, ask her how she's doing, meh so many things. You just need to open the mouth and talk.

Don't just do it randomly though, have some sort of purpose, or since she's new, she probably doesn't have many friends, so if you're supposed to group up (don't know why you'd have to in reading class though) then ask her if she wants to partner with you. If not, find out the book she's reading, rent it out and start reading it too, then one day turn around to check out the time or something, then make a comment about how you're reading the same book and talk about it or something, make sure whenever you talk to her, there's purpose. If you just turn around and say "hey", she'll say "hey", and.... silence, lol. So only talk to her if you know a little bit about what you want to say.

Anyways, after talking to her a little for a few days (I wouldn't take longer than a week), ask her out to do something, if there's a school dance soon, that mighhttt be a good idea, it depends on what kind of school you go to. Just try and talk to her, people don't realize the worst a girl can say is "no", and if she does, it's not like you're going to die. Remember though, if she does say "no", don't be like "..." and then slink off, have something clever to say afterwards.

As it is, you will have to change your personality and hope she forgets the way you are - if you do this, maybe by the end of the semester she will show interest in conversing with you.

i dunno how ur reading class is, but when i had it we always use to have to look up words and stuff like that. if you have to do something like that, just turn around and be like "hey, im kinda having trouble with this word, could u help me?" then she be like "oh sure *helps you find the word*" then u could be like "thx so much. btw i heard you were new here, how u like this school so far?" bam! next 30 minutes to talk about school and life, you cant go wrong.

thanks, i have been waiting for the teacher to make us do a partner activities, so i can ask her, like right now i just try to find thing so i can talk to her like what page are we on in the book, or can i borrow a pencil,(her locker is 4 away from mine) so sometimes ask her if we have homework or not. >.<, but then when i ask her like what sport she's in or watever, this kid sits next to me stare at us so i get shy and turn back around

but she is like not completely new, she wasnt in the school last year, but came in this year.

? d you live in the southern hemisphere or something? Or when did your school start? It really doesn't even matter if she's new or not, but if she's new, it's usually a little easier.
