are you kidding about that question? we all know McCain is going to go on stage during the Republican Convention staring directly at the paper reading verbatim what his speech writers wrote for him in a monotonic voice. it will put everyone to sleep so im not going to bother watching it. plus he's senile and computer illiterate and has numerous cancers... so no.
Obama FTW

lol, yeah, i agree with you, since Obama writes his own speeches, and does an amazing job at it.
I don't know how McCain will do for his Convention, but we never know until we see right?
Still, I don't think i can trust a President that can't even handle Modern technology

Whats funny is so many blacks are thinking he is black so they are voting for him. I say we keep the president a white male.

Better than Mccains since Mccain admitted that he didn't have a clue about economy .
I kind of lost track of what Barack wanted to do concerning economy in all the militatry and foreign politics debate.
Anyone got some updated info?

lol both candidates want to lower taxes that's just horrible let's make the US debt another trillion bigger technically, without Europe and Asia the US is already bankrupt =/
ontopic.. I hope Obama won't be the next Kennedy There are some big factors in the US that don't like to see Obama as a president =/

yeah mcain wants to lower taxes for the wealthy people that can actully afford to pay the taxes. while obama wants to lower taxes for the lower and middle class, 150,000 on average but it will depend on the area of which the person is living. Obama will also raise taxes on the wealthy WHO CAN AFFORD to pay these taxes.

Obama has an entire team of speech writers that crafts his speeches, he also reads these speaches off of a teleprompter.
The credit i can give obama is that he can read a speech extremely well.

The bare bones for both candidates come down to this:
Obama: Less Taxation, Stronger Economy, Stronger Federal Government. McCain: Less Taxation, Stronger Economy, Weaker Federal Government.
Either way for me there is no clear choice. Both say they want less taxation but their plans point towards more taxes (One person bringing more than the other) and neither candidate has a clue about the economy. Ron Paul was the good choice. McCain and Obama are mediocre.

I believe Obama is going to improve it, since he did say he was going to spend like 150 billion to make better technology, and STOP, depending on foreign oil.

How's spending money on fixing the environment going to improve the economy? That's his environmental plan not his economic plan (which I'm d/ling atm).
Both candidates want to stop depending on foreign oil but the problem is: most of our oil reserves are in Alaska and our foreign oil comes from the most unstable region in the world. One candidate wants to protect the Alaskan wilderness while another one wants to declare war on the middle east over nuclear power.

Education, veteran social assistance, support for single moms, subventions that keep mom & pop shops open, etc.
From the pockets of people that voted for him.

He'll get the money from the people and from foreign powers. I believe the term used is deficit spending.
I'm waiting for President Obama to define change.

...that hardly can pay their mortgages, let alone have spare money on the bank?
Obama:
wants to lower dependency on foreign (middle east) countries (oil) wants to lower taxes (less income for the US) wants to spend an extra 150 bil USD
all three promisses are related Foreign countries (mostly Europe, Asia and few Middle Eastern countries) pump hundreds of billions in the US economy making the US dependent. Without them the US would already be bankrupt.
Lower dependency would mean lower investments + lower taxes = huge income decline US
how can there be room for another 150 bil stimulation to the economy

It doesn't matter where the money will be coming from, the important matter is where the money is going, another stimulus package!? Either Barrack stopped listening to Austan Goolsbee in light of someone who will just nod at whatever the hell he thinks will get him invited. Then he must've ignored chief adivser also because any economist with a brain will tell you that a 15 bil stimulus package is a gigantic waste of money compared to the minimum impact it will do because people aren't going to go buy things, they will go pay off their debt.
Also, foreclosure plan? Take money from responsible homeowners and bail out irresponsible ones. Yes we can!
