well, to start off, everyone knows not everyone is equal. even if everyone got the same benefits and the same income etc. , there will still be weak people, ugly people, disfigured people. so in this story, by the year 2081, exceptional people are forced by the government to become "normal". beautiful people wear masks, strong people wear weights etc. basically forced imprisonment of all personal and social identity. that's the premise. then all hell breaks loose
