I've never seen an alien, I've never seen a UFO, I've never seen "hard evidence" of life on other planets. However, to assume that throughout the entire vast universe, earth is the only place with life would be ridiculous. Just because we can't see other planets with life does not mean they aren't there.

The real question is are WE the Aliens to them? From our history books and scientific findings the human civilization seem kind of young compare to the ET who come visit us. If people see UFO's then their tech is far superior then ours, so they must of been there a lot longer then we have.

They might be bacteria for all we know. They might not even be composed of DNA, their building block could be RNA.

An alien is considered a life form from another planet/solar system/galaxy. Bacteria is a life form. If it's on another planet that makes it a alien.

I believe in aliens, I don't believe they have visited us though.
They might not be so far advanced as us, they could still be living in caves as far as we know. I'm sure there is more then one planet out there inhabited by life..
